Addressing the Detroit Economic Club Friday afternoon, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney (R) reprised his familiar line that “the trees are the right height” and “the streets are just right” in his home state.
But he also made another statement that could draw him some unwanted attention: he told the crowd that his wife, Ann Romney, drives “a couple of Cadillacs.”

If he was a democrat senator he would have said “She drives a Prius, a Volt a BMW and a Lexus.”
This guy is nothing but pure fake and when not that pure corn pone.
Well this is the same guy who recently bought a big multi million dollar house at the beach in California and is planning to tear it down to build an even bigger and more expensive house on the same property...

Don’t most families have two cars these days? If people with money aren’t going to buy those “Cadillacs” then there wouldn’t be any reason to make them now, would there?

I think you are missing the point. By saying his wife drives a couple of Cadillacs rather than Mercedes or BMWs (or Rolls or Maybach) he thinks he IS being a pretend pauper.
