Washington, D.C. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid issued the following statement after the Senate defeated a Republican amendment to impose an artificial timeline on the Keystone XL pipeline project:
Today the Senate voted against Republicans attempt to impose an artificial timeline and short-circuit the process needed to plan the best route for the Keystone XL pipeline. If Republicans truly want to move ahead with this pipeline, they should stop treating it like a political football.
Half of the pipeline is already being built, and the company building the pipeline is submitting another application for the remainder of the route. This process should be given time to work, and be governed by what will produce the best result not by Republicans desire to appease the Tea Party or big oil companies.
Hey Harry, I live in freakin’ TEXAS and still had to pay over $4/gallon today. So all I heard you say is blah, blah, blah, blame Republicans, blah, blah, blah. Your boss, the marxist-in-chief and libtards have done NOTHING on this issue. Nothing.
Trust me Harry, a lot of Americans can’t wait to vote your party out of business in November.
I am tired of Harry Reid and his chronic anti-American blathering.
And all this time they have been saying the Tea Party is dead.
Harry has become senile.
Yada, yada, yada, Republicans, yada, yada, Tea Party, yada, yada, addicted to oil, yada, yada, yada, greedy oil companies, yada, yada, yada, green energy, yada, yada, Chevy Volt, yada, yada, conservation, yada, yada, yada, environment, yada, yada, yada, the war is lost, yada, yada, Bush’s fault.
Guess that about covers it.
FU Harry Reid. You’re no Senate leader. You are obama’s cowardly puppet.
I don’t think harry is senile. I think he’s a psychopath. It’s the only explanation of how anyone could go on record and tell such bald-faced lies with a straight face.
It’s not just Harry either. Blaming Republicans for everything is the Dem campaign talking point number 1.
I was at a local meeting to discuss a proposed rezoning and all the local and state officials sent representatives, and also a congressman. The congressman’s representative was the only one who kept saying her boss was trying to do this but the Republicans were fighting it, and her boss was trying to do that but the Republicans . . . blah blah blah.
It was the only really sour note, as far as I was concerned. The Republicans present had sat through a lot of liberal claptrap, but she was the only one who went on a direct attack.
Did the mighty Republicans get in front of this argument and hold a press conference to use this as a great teaching moment and put the blame right where it belongs .... in the lap of the Dems ...... or did they ineptly allow the Dems to frame the argument once again?
Just wondering ....
Wonder how much he sold his soul for to get where he is, do so much intentional damage, and be protected?
I will sure be glad when this A$$-hole goes away!

He will never go away until he dies. The really ridiculous part is the fact that he has been re-elected so many times. Idiots! TERM LIMITS!!! Our only hope.
And just who would lead them in this press conference? Blubbering Boner? Not bloody likely!
Notice how the dems and obama and Carney and Pelosi and....will actually use the word “republicans” in their pressers. Republicans never say “the democrats” did this...or did that.....
What cowards!
..... No .... I was thinking more along the lines of say ...... maybe..... I don't know ..... maybe a Presidential candidate taking advantage of the vote and situation to make some political hay out of it!!
I stand corrected.
First thing I thought of, too. They keep saying, “oh the tea party is dead/dying,” or that it’s not as influential... But when they need a boogeyman, the tea party is alive and well.
