And you thought Rush Limbaugh's remarks were mean.
Syndicated conservative cartoonist Gary McCoy is receiving some nasty feedback as well as some positive reviews for a new cartoon he penned showing an unflattering and obese version of Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown Law School student at the center of the birth control debate.
The cartoon shows the Fluke character holding a Pro Choice sign and yelling "STAY OUT OF MY UTERUS GOVERNMENT" in one slide. In the next slide, she says "After paying for my birth control" while writing "For a good time call " on a men's bathroom door.
The cartoon echoes Limbaugh's misleading claims that Fluke was asking for taxpayers to pony up money for her to have a lot of sex.
With advertisers fleeing and even Republican presidential candidates not supporting what many see as outlandish statements, McCoy is one of the few semi-public figures to enter the crossfire with Limbaugh.
Readers on the Townhall.com, where the cartoon was posted, had mixed reactions about the cartoon.
"Vulgar and yet so true!," one woman wrote.

Further. She brought it on.
This thing is such a liberal setup.
Hey, sew the wind. Reap the whirlwind, baby.
ROTFLMAO!!!
This is a great cartoon...caught her image to a tee!
This is a MUST view!! :-D
She wanted our attention.
She got it.
Funny that her right to birth control somehow trumps our right to free speech/press.
Go to the link and FReep the NY Daily News Poll asking did the cartoon go too far. I voted “No” and right now, it is 48% - Yes and 49% - No and 3% - Not Sure.
Its nothing new in political cartoons and Fluke is now a political figure so she’ll have to deal with it.
I remember seeing one from history that showed Abe Lincoln with an obvious erection in his pants as he hovered over a black woman scrubbing a floor. Obviously an anti republican cartoon.
Hey, sew the wind. Reap the whirlwind, baby.

I’m not one of the “Grammar Police” on here, but just so you’ll know, that is “sow the wind”.... like sowing seed.
Just sayin’
Get behind Gary McCoy folks and let him know that he has his right to Free Speech.
I hope this cartoon goes viral on the internet.

I think we were crystal clear on what they meant. And you do sound like the “Grammar Police.”

“The cartoon echoes Limbaugh’s misleading claims that Fluke was asking for taxpayers to pony up money for her to have a lot of sex.”
Exactly how was that not what she was saying?
Thanks grammar police. Sometimes you just have to strike.
BTW, stay alert for “lose/loose”.
It drives me nuts.
Freep the poll right under the picture at the link.
Does Gary McCoy’s cartoon of Sandra Fluke go too far?
Yes 48%
No 49%
not sure 3%
How is this necessarily her?
I agree, why feed that image?
She presumed to speak representatively for her sisters... therefore she attained at least to vicarious sluttiness. The cartoon could be made more pickily perfect I suppose by saying “our” instead of “my” (uterus, birth control).
Uh. The Georgetown shirt?
