I called this morning and cancelled the first of my two subscriptions (I’ll do the other tonight). I gave the guy a polite earful. Then, I gave him a rude earful when he told me I would not get a refund for the remaining six months of my subscription! I told him they are really doubling down with refusing to refund for services that will not be delivered. Great customer service. He said it is in the fine print.

Did not suggest there was no effect. Was pointing out that Carbonite and the other snake oil advertisers were not making huge gains due to advertising buys on EIB before this.

I think oBozo’s gang might have offered and threatened (carrot and stick) a lot of these advertisers to get them to drop Rush.
He has said more controversial stuff in the past, and lefties have organized attempts to get advertisers to drop in the past. What is different now? Our tax dollars that were stolen and stashed away?

I just last night bought a 2T SeaGate server external drive at Costco for $149. It is a server model in that I connect it to my wireless router and I can back up multiple computers to it (I have mine and my daughters) via the network instead of having to connect it to each computer separately. I am using their backup software that came with it. I went from box to backing up all of my data in about 15 minutes. The backup is still running.....
Maybe the CEO has been dealing with the slow bleed out and seized on this as a way to steer into the buzz saw to end it all more quickly?
I just cancelled this morning. I have six months left. No refund. I really chewed the guy out when he told me that! To me that is theft.
When I had Mozy I used SyncToy to sync with a public folder on one of my PCs from all the others but with all the music and pics from the family PCs I was at 300 GBs - no doubt lots of dupes but Mozy changed their "unlimited" backup and I just did not renew - just shelved the public disk for the moment ...
I'd looked at various sync programs out there to automatically back up the various PCs (My Docs, My Pics, Outlook etc. but fire, flood, asteroid, etc. risks meant no offsite backup. Sigh! ;-)
The next step is to contact you mutual funds and discourage any institutional investment.
JC Penny was already in a death spiral as a result of using ellen degenerate as their spokesman.
