Can I ask a serious question, which would enrage liberals, but I ask in all seriousness?
Why is the liberal view that it is good that companies are pulling out of sponsoring Rush Limbaugh, due to concerns about the content of his programming, but the liberals were enraged when Lowe’s pulled advertising from the reality show “All American Muslim”, due to concerns about the content of that programming???
This question probably would make liberals angry, but I really want to know the answer. If we’re saying that advertisers should pull out from Rush over this controversy, and not wanting to be associated with Rush and his show, why did the liberals protest so much when Lowe’s did the same thing, pulling out of All American Muslim???
What is the liberal view? Is it appropriate to pull advertising from programs someone objects to? What are he criteria for deciding?
Bow to pressure from the anarchists to abandon the capitalist Limbaugh ... I wonder how that business plan will work for them?
Bil Maher is proof that their concern is 100% fake.
Hopefully Ultra Violet sends a lot of flowers. We use them but not as of yesterday
Pro Flowers et al is betting they get more business from the left than the right.
wonder just who this Ultra Violet is?? tried googling and didnt come up with much
A recent comment on a future “fiat currency” called google dollars set me thinking. I have always said two disparate cultures can not occupy the same space but maybe we can. We could have “red dollars” for the Marxists and Blue dollars for Patriots and companies and others could choose who they wanted to patronize or to have patronize them. over time I am sure the libtards would starve and disappear but in the meanwhile we could ignore them...
My e-mail to ProFlowers:
Dear ProFlowers,
I became a regular ProFlowers customer when I first heard your ads on Rush Limbaughs show a few years ago. I, like the other 20 million weekly listeners to his show value what he says, and what he recommends. Im not sure how much business Rush has brought your company, but Ill guess its substantial. This being the case, I was beyond disappointed that ProFlowers decided to be politically correct and drop their sponsorship to Rushs show simply because Rush expressed a valid opinion about this fraud Ms. Fluke.
Just as you have made a decision that will impact Mr. Limbaugh, many more of us are also making a decision that will indeed impact you. I purchased flowers from you this past Valentines Day; this will indeed be my LAST purchase from ProFlowers. Im certainly not alone in my disgust for the gutless, politically motivated decision you have made to drop sponsorship of Rushs show. You might want to take a look around the blogosphere this day; outrage at your decision will have the opposite effect you had intended. Do you really think that dropping sponsorship to Rushs show in such a politically motivated way will not have financial consequences for your business.
Im ashamed to say that was a ProFlowers customer!
Former Customer,

Dear Artcore,
Thank you for contacting ProFlowers. We appreciate your email and thank you for openly expressing your concerns regarding the current situation.
At ProFlowers, our mission is to delight our customers with fresh and long lasting flowers, and that is our singular focus each and every day. We do not base our advertising decisions to align with any particular political view or opinion as our employees and customers are as diverse as the USA. Mr. Limbaughs recent comments went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company. As such, ProFlowers has suspended advertising on The Rush Limbaugh radio program.

My message:
Pro-Flower pulling ads from Rush Limbaugh means that I will NEVER use this company again. Rush was standing up for morality in condemning a woman who is trying to get the taxpayers to fund her immoral lifestyle.
We are amazed that Pro-Flowers would so easily give into a campaign of hate against Rush, who is a true American and supporter of all that is good in America. He was merely pointing out how absurd it is that this woman would speak before a congressional hearing to expose her lose and immoral life style.
Apparently the decision makers of your company agree with the left wing that taxpayers should fund unlimited sex by unmarried people.
She has a right to choose that life style, but it is not our responsibility to fund it. Goodbye Pro-flowers. You can forget about getting my business forever.
Now that he apologized they’re coming with an all out assault. I guess he forgot that Trent Lott apologized and ended up gone anyway. If he’d have ignored it he’d probably still be in the senate.
Now they’ll find something Rush says to be insulting every day. And they won’t stop. They smell blood in the water. And when they can get Limbaugh, they’re not far from the finish line.
I’m going to keep my eyes on any other companies who drop Rush - I need new windows!
“What’s in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;”
And, that which we call a liberal activist, concerned with the moral degradation of the Catholic Church and every other religious order, THAT which would demand subsidizing immorality, by any other name,(liberal or progressive or feminist) would stink to high heaven.
Put THAT in your vase and sell it, Pro Flowers.
I was getting really tired of the same old commercials anyway. There will be other advertisers who fill the gap.
PF suspended their account with Limabaugh
I canceled my account with PF
ProFlowers is also Sheri’s Berries and Cherry Moon Farms.
I’ve already unsubscribed from their mailer.
Pro-Flowers lost my two May birthday flower orders as well as the one for Mother’s Day.
I will tell each of my local florists who has ProFlowers that I will not buy from them. I have several great plants/trees/florists near me where I can get anything I want at competitive prices.
All this fuss because Rush used a naughty word, and then apologized for doing it.
These advertisers are cutting off their noses to spite their face. Let them go.
