NEW YORK (AP) - A flower company is the 7th advertiser in recent days to say it is pulling ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program. ProFlowers says on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program because his comments about Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke "went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company."

Never used ProFlowers even when they were with Rush.
Now I will tell all my friends to avoid them as well.
1987 from NY. He was talking about waiting on the moving van.
I started listening to Limbaugh in early '89.
When all this blows over, and the arseportal companies that pulled ads have seen their sales drop... they’ll want to advertise with Rush again. I hope he tells them all to pound sand.
When did making money have extant to it value some stoopid moral imperative?
Right on! I am disappointed that Rush apologized, but I understand why he did. Not because he is actually sorry, but to preserve his sponsors. That is okay by me, I probably would’ve done the same.
However Rush was correct. Why should we subsidize her sexual behavior? If we pay for her to have sex....well, isn’t that what prostitution is?
I can’t believe that the left (Obummer) actually expects her parents to be proud of her because she testified to being slutty in school.

I’ve never used any of his advertisers’ services, and I certainly won’t now that they’ve kowtowed to the libs. I don’t get to listen to Rush very often anymore, usually only when I’m in my car, but I discovered Rush during the first Gulf War.
A time for choosing
Here is the list so far :”So far, Sleep Number, The Sleep Train, Quicken Loans, Legal Zoom, Citrix, Carbonite, and ProFlowers have pulled ads from the program, and several others are considering following their lead.”
So Rush really wasn’t sorry for what he said? :-)
1990 when I returned from London and heard my very liberal college room mate and his radically liberal wife come half unglued over a thing called a talk radio host.
Their knickers were is such a twist over this guy Limbaugh that I decided I had to find him and listen to him.
The left/entertainment establishment/MSM has been trying to drive Rush off the air for as long as he’s been doing his show.
It hasn’t worked before, and it won’t work this time. Rush is not sitting around thinking “woe is me”, he is probably working hard to maximize this opportunity to his financial/ratings advantage.
Rush is conservative entertainer - but an entertainer first and foremost. He lives for controversy just like most other entertainers. He tossed out a meaningless BS apology because he was running into some sponsor trouble. Now Rush will capitalize on it, use this to get a huge audience next week to hear how responds, get his message out and probably reinvigorate his show.
Rush will be fine.
Won’t miss pro-flowers....1989/90
These advertisers are only hurting themselves. Rush has a Huge audience nationwide and over the net. They’re losing millions of potential customers who will continue to listen to Rush, regardless.
So were is the list of advertisers....lets start writing them and tell them we will NOT USE their product if they PULL their advertising
Does anyone have a list of the companies that pulled their advertising? I’d like to do a little counter-protesting of my own.
