The left hated Breitbart for his effectiveness in getting out the truth.
It's the same culture that forces me to get police protection to talk about personal responsibility on college campuses.
The final irony is that truth and compassion come from humility, not pride. Sadly, a cold and cruel left will not grasp this truth from Breitbart's unexpected death.

"The Left does not win its battles in debate. It doesn't have to. In the twenty-first century, media is everything. The Left wins because it controls the narrative. The narrative is controlled by the media. The Left is the media. Narrative is everything. I call it the Democrat-Media Complex -- and I am at war to gain back control of the American narrative."
His drive, fearlessness, passion, energy, zeal and conviction are irreplaceable. Rush, I believe, to respect the memory of Breitbart and to show he himself would carry the Bretbart-torch got embroiled in this Fluke flap.
We lost one hero, the other day; I pray that loss gives birth to a million more like him.
Wow! Those posts by folks from the left are disgusting. I hope that when some figure on the left like Michael Moore passes that conservatives don’t fill the net with such vitriol. And they accuse Breitbart of ‘hate’.
“Andrew Breitbart’s final message to the left”
Could it be “Live Free or Die”(trying)?
Amazing that the Red Star ran this article. Reading comments on the link is more informative about the reasoning mechanisms of the left than any 1,000 word piece. Even worse, the snarky little thumb up/down poll after each comment makes the state of affairs even more clear - the barbarians aren’t at the gate; they’re in the keep.
