Update reports of 31 killed.
Terrible. I hate reading stories of children being ripped out of the arms of a parent. I just can’t imagine....
Fox&Friends was reporting 31 deaths yesterday and 44 for the week from storm/tornado related.
They do expect the total to rise, as rescue crews go through the damage.
I live in the middle of the area that was hit. Obviously I stayed glued to the news ready to move if needed. The amazing and disappointing thing was, while local news concentrated on the storms (obviously), CNN and even MSNBC had all day coverage. I turned on Fox News and they never mentioned it. Not a word. Regular broadcast of their daily talk shows. It wasn’t until well after the devastation, they decided to report on it.
That was really, really, disappointing. I felt they really missed the mark. Not sure what Fox News is thinking....

Violent storms kill 29, death toll could rise; Obama calls slut
We just moved in a couple days ago and 7 of us were huddled in the laundry room last night. Thought we were gonna lose the roof. Prayers for those who weren’t as fortunate as we were.
I’ve had to seek shelter 3 times in my life ... each time the tornado hit a 1/2 mile or less away. None of them were the strength of these tornadoes. It was scary, nonetheless.

Incredible devastation. It’s going to take years just to clean up and rebuild.
That is disappointing. I can’t imagine what they were thinking. Where is their humanity?
