after a long heart&soul conversation with MittRomney today I concluded this goodman will properly represent we the people & I endorsed him

Yeah? Well read this.
In 2005, The Boston Globe ran a story on Romneys judicial appointments. The article stated:
Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans, has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters (75%) of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced, instead tapping registered Democrats or independents including two gay lawyers who have supported expanded same-sex rights.
Of the 36 people Romney named to be judges or clerk magistrates, 23 are either registered Democrats or unenrolled voters who have made multiple contributions to Democratic politicians or who voted in Democratic primaries, state and local records show. In all, he has nominated nine registered Republicans, 13 unenrolled voters, and 14 registered Democrats.
The Nuge has property in Michigan maybe Mitt will reduce his taxe base/s
WTF?
We were having the same discussions and talking points on FR when it looked like McCain was going to win the 2008 nomination. Do I vote for the RINO to keep Obama out of the White House, or do I stay home and send a strong message to the RNC? Thankfully he chose wisely in selecting a VP running mate. After her convention speech, even us hardcore McCain haters were reaching for our check books, and asking how to get McCain/Palin yard signs. Be it Mitt, Santorum, or Newt, I hope they remember that, when they select their running mate, because we are going to need every voter we can.
Ted Nugent? Didn’t he used to be a conservative?
So when Romney claims to have changed from his past practice you would give him the same benefit of credulity you give Gingrich when he claims to have changed? Why or why not. All of them are deeply flawed from a conservative perspective and I see no clear advantage to any of them. It’s an awful situation.
Right with you. Hey Freepers, it is really: ABO- ANYBODY BUT OBAMA. I believe that is what Ted Nugent was thinking. Believe me, Romney would not be my first choice, but the future of our country is at stake. Lets be honest, who has the money, who would appeal to conservative Democrats and Independents, who has more business experience, who is not a Washington insider: ROMNEY. I respect everyone’s principles, but Romney stands the best chance at beating B.O. I pray that Santorum gets the VP nod. NAVYCANDO, you are so right. “Do I vote for the RINO to keep Obama out of the White House, or do I stay home and send a strong message to the RNC?” I say, “Keep Obama out of the White House”.
That is 22 to 14, with obama it would be 36-0.
Do not try to equate obama and romney, it is not even sane.
Vote for whomever you choose but to calm your own mind by equating romney and obama is self delusion of the highest order.
You can lie to yourself all you want, don't insult my intelligence with your rationalization.
Wow that was a vile thing to say, even for you. :shakes head:
Many people, online and in-person, have started to shrug and say, "Oh well. Looks like Romney's gonna get the Republican nomination. I'll have to hold my nose and vote for him, like I voted for McCain.and all the other RINOs the GOP have shoved at us. After all, if he's only 80-90% like Obama then he's at least a little better than him, right?"
WRONG. and heres why.
If Myth does 90% of what Zer0 does, he will do it WITH AN R NEXT TO HIS NAME.
What does this do? Well, Republicans in Congress who would otherwise balk at lib legislation if it were proposed by Zer0 WILL SIGN ON TO THE LEGISLATION BECAUSE IT IS PROPOSED BY THE LEADER OF THE GOP.
Imagine: amnesty, tax fairness, gutting the military and so much more ALL SAILING THROUGH CONGRESS because a Republican is at the helm of America. Contrast this with a second Obozo presidency where the GOP will dig in their heels and at least try to fight.
Yeah, I said it. An Obummer presidency is better for America than a Myth presidency (in the way that a cowpie sandwich is better than a meal of broken glass).
I would blast you, except I have experienced, firsthand, what you have discussed.
In New York State, year after year the Democraps would try to pass a state-level assault rifle ban. Year after year, the New York Senate -- held by Republicans -- would shut the attempt down.
Enter George Pataki as NY Governor. An extraordinarily liberal Republican, the very first year the assault weapons ban was resurrected by the Democraps, he immediately began pressuring the Republicans in the Senate to vote for it.
They did. It passed. Pataki signed it.
Pataki accomplished what 6 years of Democrat governors couldn't.
careful shaking that fool head...all full of rocks
Just returned from the WA Caucus. Majority agree with Ted.
WA Caucus Report
Location: So. King County
My Table which sat 2 precincts had 11 people.
The vote tally for our table was:
Romney 7
Santorum 1
Paul 1 ( a young kid)
Undecided 2
Newt 0
Despite the gauntlet of Ron Paul signs we had to drive through going into the caucus location, their voting numbers were very tiny. The number of people was unbelievable. I have been going to these things for the last three Presidential elections and this was the largest yet. Lots of first timers. Of my table of 11, all but me were first timers.
Im not sure what gives with the 2 undecided votes. Why give up a beautiful Saturday morning to go vote for nobody?
We’re choosing a candidate for President, not a parish priest.
What I do every national election cycle, is research candidates political records and compare those records with present day political positions and proposed solutions. In the process, character issues usually appear.
Gov.Romney has always been, and will contiunue to be, a liberal Democrat pretending to be a conservative Republican. As I see it, he hungers to be President only because his daddy never was President. He has not disavowed Romney care and will, I predict, as President would block all efforts to overtrune Obamacare. He is also a facilitator of the radical homosexual agenda. Facts are now appearing that he paid and planned the past three-years smear against Sarah Palin and her family in an effort to block her from the 2012 nomination, something so disgusting I just can’t put it into words.
During the past month I have researched Sen.Rick Santorum’s past and discovered instances of lawbreaking, dishonesty, and political corruption.
He founded a charity, Operation Good Neighbor Foundation, which should have been registered with the State of Pennsylvania but never was, and from which he and polticial cronies withdrew the majority of cash rather than donate to charity. Likewise, a so-called leadership PAC created by Santorum that was supposed to fund other Republicans, instead seemed to mostly pay for the lifestyle of Santorum and his sycophants.
Santorum has never repuditated the large number of earmarks he facilitated while Senator of PA. Though not illegal, his pay-for-play, politics-to-power dealings through K Street lobbyists and labor unions is well known and part & parcel of a big government poltician.
Rep.Ron Paul is a racist bigot and hypocrite on fiscal issues. His anti-semitism is well known but less so his creating legislation containing earmarks for his district in Texas, which he later votes against after accruing support for the legislation through poltical dealings.
I want to change Washington, not have it continue to drag the nation down. Entire departments should be eliminated. Only one candidate has proposed to do so, and presented a plan.
Newt Gingrich is pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment and loves America. He understands its citizens. As a historian, he thoroughly knows the U.S. Constitution and our nation’s history.
He allied himself with Ronald Reagan to build the Reagan Coalition, the Religious Right, and the Republican majority (together the Reagan Revolution) which directly led the downfall of the Soviet Union, the Contract with America, government reforms, less government, tax cuts, a balanced budget, and the great, long-standing Reagan economy.
He has offered solutions and a plan for getting the nation back on its feet and working again, while the other candidate have offered platitudes and generalities.
Washington is broken, it doesn’t work the way it is supposed to and Newt said, if elected, he will work to change the way Washington does business. You better believe the elitists who suck money off of government contracts are terrified he will be elected.
He knows about the hidden tract ways and byways by which influence peddling moves in the capitol. He has a past record that cannot be hidden and he has explained why he did what he did then, and why some of it was wrong.
When a middle-class citizen, like Tom DeLay, is elected to Congress and returns home years later a multi-millionaire, it is due to corruption in government. And that influence pedaling corruption may even be legal!
We have to change Washington, D.C., in order to get our nation back on the right track. That requires someone who knows how that government operates and can begin dismantling the machinery of corruption.
Newt Gingrich is the only candidate with true leadership ability, who has changed Washington in the past and can do so again. He isn’t perfect. Who is? But I believe at this time, at this juncture in in nation’s pathway, he can lead this country away from socialism.
Yeah interesting that the libertarian Nuge didn’t vote for the one we are all told is the libertarian’s candidate, Ron Paul.
Maybe Nuge made a mistake and thought it was April this month.
When a man readily and frequently quotes the Founders pledging their sacred honor and he can’t or won’t honor his marriage vows I smell a rat. I’m not the only one.
This will help you track down the sources for the things that we have posted here thousands of times during the Romney years.

The Founders weren’t choirboys, far from it.
So, Newt is in error when he refers to their “sacred honor” ?
