A new U.S. Senate candidate in Virginia wears a tie, has a campaign website and even launched an ad. One big difference? He has a thick coat of fur.
Hank the cat has thrown his paw into the race, running to mock the political status quo.
-snip-
Hank's campaign posters show the Maine Coon gazing upward, wearing a tie. An ad says Hank, a moderate, will work to make sure America stays the greatest land of all.

"Catnip mice for everyone." My four cats are on their way to Virginia as we speak to vote for Hank.

At least we only need to bribe Hank with cat food. Senators of the two-legged variety are vastly more expensive.

I believe that the two senators from my state came from the cat box, covered with kitty litter.

Shame he is not running for the House of Representatives. That way, Sheila Jackson Lee would no longer have the lowest IQ. Well, on second thought...

You beat me to the “He’s a Maine Coon Cat” thing. Our big one is only 42” nose to tail, shorter than Stewie. Great cats.
Note to the 16lb bag of cat food comment: Cat food does not last nearly as long with Coons as “common” cats. (See the Royan Canin cat food.)

A sack of hammers could run for Congress and SJL would still have the lowest IQ.

At this point I have more faith in Hank than the idiots currently in the Senate. Seriously, Hank versus Harry Reid..... I think I know who would be that brains in that match up....(hint, the smart one enjoys a little catnip now and then)
