Via Mediaite, here’s the hotly anticipated answer to the lingering question raised by Breitbart’s CPAC speech. No, he wasn’t just messing with the left’s head when he said he has tapes of The One in his younger years. They exist, says Bannon, and he and some of the “Big” guys like Joel Pollak and Larry O’Connor are going through them. They must be near the end of their review too if Bannon can promise them as soon as 10 days from now. Obviously there’ll be organizational upheaval for them to deal with in the days ahead, especially with a new Breitbart site set to launch imminently. Watch to the end for a hint about that; supposedly it’s been in the works for two years and AB was putting the finishing touches on it last night in preparation for a Sunday launch. I assume it has to do with Obama and the election, but stay tuned.

I believe it is common and condoned, but not openly. I’ve seen a few things on TV about “the down-low”, where black men have get-togethers for this specific purpose. Then they go home to their regular lives with wives, kids, etc.
People will get their hopes up that the tapes will cause a huge controversy and that liberals everywhere will have to admit that he is dangerous. Of course, nothing of the sort will happen.
The MSM will downplay them (if they report on them at all) and, in the end, the whole thing will be made to look like a conservative loss.
But somewhere, quietly, a few minds at the margins will be changed.

Given the promise at the recent CPAC speech, the death DOES appear a bit convenient and timely for the Dems and Obama.
Glad that they still plan on releasing them and aren’t backing down from Chicago politics. If that is the case here.
I think even if we see the tapes, we lost the good stuff. No doubt Breitbart had done alot of digging about the tapes and the players and the circumstances, and was ready to show the tapes with alot of the background info, the connect-the-dots info, etc.
Breitbart’s people will be well advised to upgrade their security. would not put anything past Obama and his thug friends.

This tells me that there is no single, damning quote. The quotes are so broad that they require editing for coherence. This will limit their effectiveness, since the remarks will be “out of context.”
I had my hopes up, but my expectations are low.
Regardless, if anyone doesn’t understand by now that Odumbo is a Marxist, they never will.
My hope is that Breitbart was saving these tapes as an October surprise, but I doubt it.

No doubt it will. I agree 100%. Thing is, every time they have pulled the race card, fewer and fewer people care. The vast majority of people I have spoken with say flat out some version of “Let them call me a racist. It’s meaningless anymore.”
Sure, people do still fall for it, but as the election draws closer and more are accused falsely, I really think the tipping point will happen sooner than anyone expects - if we haven’t hit it already.
All it is doing is hardening people to thier BS; well that and hurting the black community. It’s the ‘cry wolf’ thing writ large. Unfortunately, when actual racism occurs, no one will really think it’s anything but more propaganda and write it off without giving the incident a fair hearing.
Personally, I have never considered myself racist towards blacks or anyone else. If I was, my lilly white self would be hard pressed to explain perfectly happy with my black son in law ;) But thanks to the Jessie Jacksons, Al Sharptons, Quannel X’s, Maxine Waters, the CBC, NAACP, the Obama’s and Jarret’s of this world, I just have a hard time getting worked up about racism anymore on nothing but a drooling claim made by a drooling idiot with a political agenda. And I think many unhyphenated “Americans” feel pretty much the same way. Regardless of their skin color.
