The ascension of law over moral absolutes, and the ascension of decadence. But I repeat myself.

Hey, if you want to know the real reason, just go to Youtube and look at some of those videos of wildebeests being eaten alive by hyenas. At first the wildebeest struggles, but at some point exhaustion sets in and he resigns himself to his fate, allowing the hyenas to tear him apart and devour him without resistance.

'...Once I began to look at this through the eyes of my own kids and other young people, it became pretty clear," the father of four sons, ages 17 to 21, told the Washington Post. "You want them to have love...'

But what they will get is random and promiscuous sex, betrayal, instability, addiction, violence and disease

To hear these people tell it, the whole word is queer - or actually, by the definition, I am!

"I believe it's my responsibility to make sure children are taken care of"

Like the best way to do that would be to hand over somebody else's kids to a gay couple . . . What is WRONG with these people???

It’s all part of a much longer historical cycle, which repeats itself over again.

There are days of spiritual revival and blessing, and then there are days of decadence and destruction.

It’s a cycle that men really have no power to avoid, other than through prayer and personal revival with God.

So this dude decided to look at the issue through the eyes of his children and other young people? Is that a smart thing to do?

I’ve learned that some of the people who think they are the smartest people alive are teenage girls. They feel they have greater knowledge and wisdom than eveybody else. Do we want teenage girls making our laws and social policies? Is that what he is saying? We’re going to see how young people feel about an issue and vote accordingly?

And what’s this about expressing love and all that? The way this issue gets discussed is so distorted. This issue has nothing to do with consenting adults expressing whatever they want to express behind closed doors. The issue is how society and the law defines marriage. People are free to have whatever relationship they want to have, the issue is how does the law view that relationship, not whether they are allowed to have that relationship.

According to a Massachusetts study of homosexuals in that state, only 20% of all homosexuals in monogamous relationships are married. That’s not 20% of all homosexuals, that is 20% of all homosexuals who say they are in a relationship.

So it appears that the gay activists are fighting hard for homosexual marriage. Then, once that right is gained, they decide they don’t really want to be married. Isn’t that interesting?

You want them to have love, and if that's how they want to express it, you want them to be able to do it openly."

You could make the exact same argument for pedophiles, zoophiles, polygamists etc.

I’m proud to say in my state of West Virginia gay marriage is still opposed by nearly a 70/30 margin. So it will NEVER be the law here, unless it’s shoved down our throats by the Supreme Court like abortion was.

“You want them to have love, and if that’s how they want to express it, you want them to be able to do it openly.”

It’s not about “love” or being able to express their love “openly”. Homosexuals can already do that. This is about forced acceptance of homosexuality.

Sounds like bohanan and kach got caught on film on their knees somewhere.

Why else would a “conservative” back the liberal dream?

John Bohanon is inmy district, and I will take great pleasure in working to see that he is replaced come election time.

John Bohanon just sold out heterosexual relationships for the perverts.

I sincerely hope he lives to regret voting for perverts.

Liberals in our nations various press outlets have become very dangerous. They have realized their power in forming opinion rather than reporting news. In so much as millions now think the nation is supportive of gay marriage a little work in looking at how we have come to this is very revealing but the average Joe does not exert the effort to do so. Our own apathy and complacency has brought us to this point.

They may actually have the power to get Obama re-elected in spite of reality. We are living in times where the nation itself is threatened...and all from within. This was forecast long ago by history itself.

what “tide”???

How about judicial activism and a spineless GOP that won’t challenge abuses of power?

Bypassing the properly executed public vote in California?
Bypassing the legislature entirely in Connecticut?

It cost them more than $50,000 in fertility treatments and sperm donations before Tina became pregnant -- a very tangible commitment to family values.

This is a commitment to family values? You can't be serious, Cokie?

Wade Kach, a conservative Republican, backed the marriage measure after a hearing at which gay couples talked poignantly about forming families of their own. "As a pro-life Republican, I believe it's my responsibility to make sure children are taken care of," he explained. "I left that hearing a changed person."

Wow. This is a man with no core values who can't tell the difference between an emotional appeal and reality. Someone should sit him down and let him hear the stories of ex-homosexuals. Perhaps he'd leave that hearing a changed person again.

Accepting the homosexual lie is all about emotional blackmail. Once you get beyond the tears, however, it's all ugliness.
