Mitt Romneys tortured triumph in Michigan put him back in the GOP drivers seat but that hasnt quelled the desire among some Republicans to trade up.
Yes, Republicans are still pining for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, despite his repeated and vehement refusal to be sucked into the 2012 Republican vortex.
And Democrats continue to cast a wary eye on a guy they see as more dangerous and capable of connecting with middle-class and Latino voters than Romney.

Well that was a heck of a stem-winder if I do say so myself:)
Well then, keep winding that stem!!!

No one. Cause Obama would win.
The GOP hasn't won POTUS without a Nixon or Bush on the ticket since Herbert Hoover. As much as voters don't like political dynasties, they apparently do in the case of the Bushes and the presidency.
As cardboard and RINO as Jeb is, he is IMO, less worse than Milt, Santorum and Paul are. Again, I like Newt (although I don't think he can win in the general election in November), and have posted scores of times I'd like to see Paul Ryan or Mike Pence “drafted”.
Can another Bush win? It's too bad we have such crappy choices to choose from.
I agree with you about JEB! He will be an even worse Globalist than his big brother George. We are so screwed...no matter what.
While technically close, it's difficult to understand what Nixon and dynasty have in common.
No, America, with the Adams, Bushes and Roosevelts (are their others?) as examples, is not dynastic. That was the old days mostly.
Now days it's all about cultural infusion and outlets.
We don't need no STEENKIN' RINO's....we need a Conservative Nominee, period.
The point I was making was the GOP hasn’t won the POTUS without a Nixon or Bush on the ticket since Hoover.
Actually, I’d consider Nixon as his own dynasty (or perhaps reign) - the only person to be elected VP and P twice.
I agree with your comment about cultural infusion and outlets.
Jeb Bush is a sure fire loser.
A McDonnell / Rubio or McDonnell / Connie Mack ticket would be awfully tough for the Kenyan to defeat.
Who are these Republicans and were can they be found? They need to be bagged and tagged.
It's just lunacy, so much so it can only be a planted story to keep the Bush brand name alive for Democrat operative's purposes.
Quotable: Jeb Bush

“I used to be a conservative and I watch these (GOP presidential) debates and I'm wondering, I don't think I've changed, but it's a little troubling sometimes when people are appealing to people's fears and emotion rather than trying to get them to look over the horizon for a broader perspective and that's kind of where we are. I think it changes when we get to the general election. I hope.”

Catching up; didn't want this to get lost in the shuffle.
Despite Mitt wins, both sides keep eying Jeb (MSM pushing Jeb)

Thanks, Maggie. What a day!
