Even when I agree with Rick Santorum, listening to him argue the point almost makes me change my mind.
I also wonder why he's running for president, rather than governor, when the issues closest to his heart are family-oriented matters about which the federal government can, and should, do very little.
It's strange that Santorum doesn't seem to understand the crucial state-federal divide bequeathed to us by the framers of our Constitution, inasmuch as it is precisely that difference that underlies his own point that states could ban contraception.
Of course they can. States could outlaw purple hats or Gummi bears under our Constitution!

The real problem is the Voters.
Isn’t Ms. Coulter in the tank for Romney? If so, her opinions of other candidates are suspect.

Santorum cares about foreign policy etc. He didn’t say he only cares about family issues. She’s an entertainer.
That’s odd. I don’t recall you posting the Coulter articles where she bashed Newt. So are you on board with Ann now?

Say what you want about Rick, he is the only one giving Mitt any competition while Newt and Paul fight over who is the biggest loser.
Santorum is an entertainer.

Not just in the tank. After SC she called the voters who rejected Romney ‘stupid’ and described them as a ‘mob’, with reference to her recent book. She is in the tank with leather bustier, boots, riding crop and dog collar. Not holding a thing back. Persuasive as only a histrionic screecher can be.
I’ve always liked Ann. Interesting to watch her derail this year.
