Newt Gingrich holds Campaign Rally at the Tennessee State Capital, Nashville, Tennessee where he was introduced by former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson.

Thank you so-o-o much, truth. I appreciate the link very much.
“I am so disheartened even though I expected this...it is disgusting”
The collective stupidity is staggering.
First: to allow “open” primaries, when elections are won on a few percentages, only means to allow the democrats dictate who their adversary in the national election will be.
Second: for the Republicans to vote for Obama-lite, who lost to McCain, who lost to Obama in 2008, and hope that he will prevail in 2012, is sheer stupidity.
Finally.
When in November, they will see Obama grinning from ear to ear, while getting more four years to dismantle America, just remember:
“Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me”.
WHAT A DISASTER in the making.
Newts ads begin tomorrow ...
Newt 2012 announced today that Newt Gingrichs 30 minute address, $2.50 per Gallon Gasoline, Energy Independence and Jobs, will air statewide on the Ohio News Network (ONN) leading up to Super Tuesday. ONN reaches 1.5 million homes in all 12 of Ohios media markets. The address will air at the following times:
Thursday, March 1 8:30pm
Friday, March 2 7:30pm
Saturday, March 3 8:00pm
Sunday, March 4 8:00pm
Monday, March 5 8:30pm
Rick would better drop out NOW and endorse Newt. He should have done that in Florida ...
It’s the last chance to stop the McCain II, I mean Romney.
>> I am so disheartened
Chin up. We fight on regardless of the outcome.
Essentially, tonight’s result is probably the best thing Newt could have hoped for. A win for Santorum would have made it really difficult for Newt to run against Santorum. Now he can criticize Santorum on electability, and also make the case that Romney’s attack machine is getting tiresome and voters are tired of not hearing a positive message from him.
Also, statistically in this primary, whenever Romney has a big win in a key state, he gets slaughtered in the next election. NH led to SC...FL led to Rick’s hat trick. The opposite of inevitability seems to happen to him. People get hit with buyer’s remorse whenever he wins, and his conservative opposition seems to work harder to defeat him next time.
Keep up the courage. The Southern countries can yet win the day

I’m here 12 hours late.
:)
I watched movies all day and last night to spare myself from idiot speeches and pundit talk of doom and gloom.
I did however tune into cnn at the close of its live coverage just in time to see John King speculate that Newt could likely catch fire and come in second to Romney, provided he sweeps the our beloved South.
He needs free face time on TV, which of course, is rarely given to him in any meaningful manner, but keep the faith = he’s trying!
Lovely to see his policies and solutions lifted by his rivals. /s
Thank you!!!!
Bring your peanut brittle!!!!
No, Marguerite, it’s not over yet. I know some of Newt’s supporters are getting a little discouraged, and very tired, but we just have to keep on, and then keep on some more. You do some extraordinary work for Newt on this forum alone. Extraordinary.
I have set a goal for my little crew of “babies” - get Newt to 20% across the boards, that clarifies and simplifies the objective, and you don’t have to be looking everywhere for signs of how he is doing... we just have one question, is he at 20% across the boards yet? That is our goal. We had a %15 across the boards goal when he was first starting out... and that worked well for us, and others, and saved a lot of wear and tear on our heart strings.
I know a lot of people who have been doing great things online for Newt, who have recently changed to grassroots and neighborhood efforts, face to face, because the people online seem to be so dug in, and unchangeable...
All these little dynamics are in flux and changing the nature of the scene as we see it today... Newt is going to be fine...
You are my hero.
I want to thank you for the kinship over yesterday’s MI, AZ
carnival.
I can hardly tolerate the fact that MONEY alone isolated the giant from some of these contests, but because Newt walks the talk that he delivers in his words and wisdom, I expect interest to rise in him, since Santorum crossed over onto a rabbit trail of social issues and found himself in weeds to high to take Romney in Michigan.
There is nothing Santorum believes that Newt doesn’t believe concerning these personal, religious, and family issues, and the Church.
Newt just doesn’t belch and foam and give away how he would try to govern on these very issues. He will simply advance them when in power to do so. (Just like Obama did, does and will, only with Newt it will be a roll back of these assaults in so far as it is possible.)
Had Obama done more than dropped strategic hints to an enamoured electorate, if he had blabbed how far he would hollow out the nation economically, anti-semetically, morally, with corruption of the Justice Department to set up some and pay off others, all in order to advance Marxism, he would not have been elected.
Santorum has blabbed and shot himself in the foot.
It is not known how much Adelson donated to Newt. Before it actually arrived, murmerings were heard that it was but another $10 million. Now it seems, it is a secret and won’t be reported until the quarter ends.
I hope it was much more, with Newt going into Super Tuesday and the South, considering that in a single state, Romney doubles that to annihilate his opponents.
I snapped out of my evening funk last night when *gusty remarked on Newt’s demise north of the Meuse, following Super Tuesday.
I have plenty of fight through next week, gussie, and encourage myself everytime I hear Newt grace the microphone. He is phenominally intellegent, even brilliant, and an expert on trimming the schemes and hopes of Marxist Democrats, in now legendary wars. WHAT A RECORD!!
THWAP.
Love to all the Marines on FR, who bear one another up (me)and hang with the giant.
Newt Gingrich on Neal Boortz now! 12:30 am ET

Oops sorry.
It’s 12:30 pm ET
Newt would probably have been doing a lot better if it weren't for Rush's knee-jerk condemnation of his questions on Mitt's Bain experience! IMO, Rush's characterization of Newt's comment as "an attack on capitalism" was on the same level as those on the left who scream "Racist!!!" if someone, say, uses the word "niggardly" or says Obama is skinny, and just as indefensible as the Left's refusal to disavow the more outrageous antics of Greens or gays.
At the very least, he should have invited Newt on for a segment to explain/expand upon his question.
Just compare Newt's years as Speaker of the House (1995-1999) with Obama's disaster:
