Newt Gingrich holds Campaign Rally at the Tennessee State Capital, Nashville, Tennessee where he was introduced by former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson.

Most people do not realize that Fred Thompson was elected Tennessee senator in 1994 along with a wave of other GOP reps. In his remarks, Fred gives a large part of the credit to Newt Gingrich for nationalizing the election and for following up with major legislative achievements.

It was also interesting to discover that Rick Santorum was also elected to the U.S. Senate in 1994 and served along with Fred Thompson for at least 16 years. So Fred had a chance to observe both men in Congress...And so he endorsed Newt.

Newt deserves more credit than he is given for his major accomplishments as Speaker. I am glad that Thompson remembers.

BTW, Newt will be on O'Reilly tomorrow night to talk about his gas program.

Newt really needs to stay away from Fred national popular vote Thompson.

I love Fred Thompson! Saw him speak last month and he is good.

The last person Old Glue Horse endorsed didn’t do very well.
Can u say McCain? In fact, many people thought Thompson was McCain’s stalking horse.

With or without Thompson, Newt won’t carry Tennessee.

I really respect Thompson, and he had my vote last go around.

I really hope that the electorate isn’t so stupid this time around.

Newt has surrounded himself with some solid colleagues.

He’s also pimping the national popular vote which is a progressive plan and another Soros project.

Have to tell you that I almost threw up on my keyboard listening to Santorum's speach tonight. Watching that frog face Rove on Fox also made me sick.

Heard Krauthammer say that Newt has nowhere to go after the south...but also heard Rush say "don't count Newt out"

Now the Romney gang is on and that is tum's time. I am so disheartened even though I expected this...it is disgusting! of course they are thanking Trump, Brewer, Christie and etc. All I can say is GOD HELP AMERICA and hang tought Newt!

It is a tough night for Newt supporters! We have been forewarned, from Newt’s lips, that he must take Georgia, and perform well in these Super Tuesday states to be successful, after MONEY has kept him in the freezer. So, yes, I’m fearful.

The media is roughing Romney up and using our divisiveness to do it, to damage him in the general election, should he ever drag across the finish line.

Newt’s ads begin tomorrow for the South, and there are no more debates. God be with us.
