Perhaps to a leftist weasel it’s scary. To the rest of us, it looks pretty doggone nice!

Religious bigotry from the Left immune to the political correctness Nazis because the hate comes from the Left.

That headline sounds exactly what the liberals and MSM would say, and what some Newt supporters are saying.
Looks like they are all working on the same team to help Mitt Romney.
Who would have though among some area's of Conservatism that conservatives would actually attack Christians and other conservatives for their beliefs.

At a time when actual mullahs are advocating the death of American soldiers and the destruction of Israel, we get this from Richard Cohen. Good grief - we are doomed if this view holds true in the 2012 election, and I’m not even a Santorum supporter.
To: presidio9
First of all..I am a strong Newt supporter and I do believe that teaching morals is up to the parents. I believe the economy is in very dire straits and prefer Newt's plan on soc sec reform which Santorum opposes and I would love to see this nation start drilling for oil, do something with coal including looking into using liquified coal; cut foreign aid and aid to the UN and address judicial reform as Newt suggests.
Morals are up to families and parents. Obama can't legally force catholics to dole out contraceptives..the law is already there ..let's address the dangers of our economy so we can leave a better future for our children and grandchildren GO NEWT!

[Rick Santorum] is opposed to contraception... One would be most fascinated, indeed, to learn where Rick Santorum might have suggested that the federal government should make it public policy to ban contraception.
Oh, that's right. It can be found in the same place as unicorns...

Obama believes he CAN force the Catholics to dole out contraceptives...laws be damned.

But whenever I start to giggle a bit, I find that some absurd statement resonates with Republican primary voters. The writer of this hit piece is all "wee-wee'd" up. Calm down, take a deep breath, and change your underwear good friend.

People should be realizing by now that there is no compromising with leftists. They are totalitarians and intend to impose their utopian vision on everyone by force.

The liberal playbook that says strong religious faith is a political negative is going to backfire on them.

Isn’t Richard Cohen worried that if he makes fun of mullahs, he’ll be blown up by an incensed islamist? Or maybe he thinks they’ll just kill more U.S. servicemen, and he’ll kill two birds with one stone.

Richard Cohen would have wet himself in the days of our founders.
"It was Sunday morning early in the year 1776. In the church where Pastor Muhlenberg preached, it was a regular service for his congregation, but a quite different affair for Muhlenberg himself. Muhlenberg's text for the day was Ecclesiastes 3 where it explains, 'To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted...'"
"Coming to the end of his sermon, Peter Muhlenberg turned to his congregation and said, 'In the language of the holy writ, there was a time for all things, a time to preach and a time to pray, but those times have passed away.' As those assembled looked on, Pastor Muhlenberg declared, 'There is a time to fight, and that time is now coming!' Muhlenberg then proceeded to remove his robes revealing, to the shock of his congregation, a military uniform."
"Marching to the back of the church he declared, 'Who among you is with me?' On that day 300 men from his church stood up and joined Peter Muhlenberg. They eventually became the 8th Virginia Brigade fighting for liberty."
"Frederick Muhlenberg, Peter's brother, was against Peter's level of involvement in the war. Peter responded to Frederick writing, 'I am a Clergyman it is true, but I am a member of the Society as well as the poorest Layman, and my Liberty is as dear to me as any man, shall I then sit still and enjoy myself at Home when the best Blood of the Covenant is spilling? ...So far am I from thinking that I act wrong, I am convinced it is my duty to do so and duly I owe to God and my country."

Yeah, because having a President that wants to return to Christian values (in this society) through leadership and evangelism is the same as the Islamic Taliban forcing their views and actions upon you..sure.
Go on posting liberal drivel.

Dick Cohen has no problems with Obama’s religion informing his politics. What’s more out of the mainstream, Santorums beliefs or that of Obama - Black Liberation Theology?
Cohen is a moron and shill.

I remember 0bama saying in a speech in 2008, “We want you to have as many abortions as you want.”
I had assumed he meant the ‘royal’ ‘we.’ However, maybe it refers to some other ‘we.’
