Sacha Baron Cohen dumps fellow dictator Kim Jong-Il's 'ashes' over Ryan Seacrest
By Gael Fashingbauer Cooper
Sacha Baron Cohen not only was allowed to stride the red carpet in costume as Admiral General Aladeen, "The Dictator" from his upcoming movie, but he brought a fellow dictator along with him. Kind of. Clad in full dictator regalia, he was accompanied by two beautiful women in short-skirted "army" uniforms and red berets. And in his arms, he carried a cremation urn with an image of late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.
But those ashes didn't stay in the urn long. When Baron Cohen stepped over to talk to E! red-carpet host Ryan Seacrest, he dumped the "ashes" all over Seacrest's tux.
Before it happened, Seacrest asked Baron Cohen's "Dictator" character who he was wearing, and Baron Cohen replied, "I'm wearing John Galliano, but the socks are K-Mart." He then said he was thrilled to bring his "dear friend and tennis doubles partner Kim Jong-il to the Oscars."

So sorry to hear you find it depressing. You are of course entitled to your opinion, and to express it.
Cohen is a comic, an iconoclast, an entertainer, with a rather unique, edgy wit. I find a great deal of what he does to be funny, though not everything. I have a hunch he appreciates the freedom of speech in America that allows him such wide leeway -- the same freedom of speech you laud on your FR profile page, BTW.
Here's a clue: if you find him unfunny, I suggest that you not watch him, and don't click on threads about him, since they're likely to be filled with comments about how funny he is, and otherwise positive comments.
No need to go getting yourself all depressed because the world doesn't share your opinion.
Cohen couldn't be President anyway since he isn't a natural born U.S.
Oh, Yeah??? Wadda you think you got now??
Now, now. He “SAID” he was born in Hawaii ;0)
Plus we’d get Isla Fisher for FLOTUS.
Gosh, you have no sense of humor!
When Aladeen was just a child, his father Omar died in a tragic hunting accident when he was hit by 97 stray bullets and a stray grenade. Shortly afterwards, Omars Chief Advisor suggested that Aladeen should be officially declared the successor. The supremely-humble Aladeen responded by accepting the position. He then shot Chief Advisor for challenging the rule of his father. Aladeen righteously declared his father Eternal President of the Republic and called for free elections to determine who would serve as Vice-President under his dead father. Aladeen won with only 99.999% of the vote. After an exhaustive government investigation, it was discovered that the one dissenting vote came from Aladeen himself, who deliberately misspelled his own name as an ingenious test of the system.

Oh dear. Actually I have a great sense humor, thanks.
But I appear to have missed your "/sarc" tag on your otherwise dry comment. Lemme look again.... hmmmm. Still can't find it. Odd. Well, perhaps it fell off my browser window when the cat knocked into the monitor earlier.
Cats are like that. No respect at all for tags.
Have a great day! :)
