The Rev. Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest and one of America's most influential Christian leaders, has embarked on an effort to heal divisions between evangelical Christians and Muslims by partnering with Southern California mosques and proposing a set of theological principles that includes acknowledging that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

Jesus Christ and Mohamed are the same guy? Gee, who knew?
Interesting that he used the word "our" rather than "the".
Fool. Asshole. Moron. Tweeb. Idiot. Cretin. Ok. I give up!
...proposing a set of theological principles that includes acknowledging that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.
Evidently not...CFR Rick sounds like he more in line with a 'one world religion'...
Compromise: No Honor Killings on major Christian Holidays or on church grounds during Sunday Mass.
Except for emergencies, of course.

So the muslim god AND the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, order the killing of Jews and Christians?
The hatred of Israel, Jews & Christians says it all.
“First announced last December, Abraham Meulenberg, a Saddleback pastor in charge of interfaith outreach, and Jihad Turk, director of religious affairs at a mosque in Los Angeles introduced King’s Way as “a path to end the 1,400 years of misunderstanding between Muslims and Christians.”
The co-authored document outlined points of agreement between Islam and Christianity and affirmed that Christians and Muslims believe in “one God” and share two central commandments: “love of God” and “love of neighbor.”

Yeah...I can’t wait to compromise with “Jihad Turk”!
Allah is NOT the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Israel !!!
shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
Rick Warren is so, so mistaken. Ask Muslim religious leaders to describe God. Them compare what they say with the Christian deccription of God.
When it come to the Trinity, see if Muslims and Christians worship the same God.
Reminds me of the scene in the classic movie “War of the Worlds” when the pastor believes that he can advance safely upon the advancing Martians with impunity.
No peace, no co-exist, no HBO movies, no neighbors, no judges and no Moslem police.
Just say no and back it up with action. They are invaders more dangerous than any sci-fi alien species because they are unopposed and already dug in with control in major parts of our society.
Did ya know Bush brought in more Muslims AFTER 911, than in the previous 2 decades?

Warren is promoted on the speakers corner of the Islamic Society of North America, an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood and a financier of the Hamas terror organization.
Fifteen months ago, Warren spoke to ISNAs annual convention with these opening words: As-salamu Alaykum. I come to you today deeply humbled and honored by this invitation. I truly mean that. I applaud your courage for inviting an Evangelical pastor. Thank you.
He shared the podium at that event with Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing; Zulfiqar Ali Shah, the former South Asia director of KindHearts, a Hamas fundraising group shut down by the FBI in February 2006; and Naeem Muhammad, a U.S. staff member of Islamic Relief, a charity the Israeli government has claimed is a front for Hamas.
One does not make peace with those whose sworn duty is to see you and all yours dead.
Insanity reigns supreme
I can’t help but wonder if he and his church aren’t getting some major funding for this from who knows where.
The devil can speak in golden tongue too -
I wonder if Rick Warren is trying to beef up his liberal credentials?
Many liberals reacted with outrage when Obama invited him to give an invocation at the inauguration. Warren’s crime? Warren had the temerity to say that he believes that marriage is 1 man and 1 woman.
So, perhaps smarting from being maligned by the liberals, he hopes this outreach will cause the liberals to re-think their hatred of him? Just a thought.
