The wife of presidential candidate Rick Santorum said Thursday that his rise in the polls is due to God working in mysterious ways.
"I personally think this is God's will. I think He has us on a path, and I do think there's a lot more happening than what we're seeing," Karen Santorum told Glenn Beck as she and her husband sat for an interview on his Web-based show, GBTV. "Personally I mean I think Rick's a great guy, and he's really smart and everything. But I think a lot more is happening than what we can actually see."

That’ll keep the votes rolling in.
—must have worked in a really mysterious way in Santorum’s last senatorial election-—

Karen Santorum’s response that her husband's candidacy was “God's will” came in response to Mr Beck's question; “So Karen; What would be the scariest thing you could say that would frighten the most voters?”
Next thing will see is Benny Hinn endorsing him.
Just because it may be God’s Will that Santorum is surging does not necessarily mean that it is God’s Will Santorum wins the nomination.
One can be obedient in running and still not win.
Santorum is staking everything on social issues and folks trying to feed their kids and put gas in their tanks are not, and won’t be listening.
Remember, when he starts tanking that it works both ways. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.
That'll have the nancies running for the tall grass.
Good point. If my memory serves me correctly, after Pat Robertson’s foray into Presidential politics, he remarked that God had told him to run, but that He didn’t tell him that he would win.
Pat came in second or third in the NH primary, I think.
I'm listening, and I heard his "team player" comment loud and clear.
We need leaders in DC, not followers. This "team concept" is why we have a $16 Trillion deficit.
In my household, we spell it "TEAm".
That's certainly true, and I'm sure Mrs. Santorum would agree. As someone said, "God doesn't require us to be successful; He only requires us to be obedient." Or something like that.
I think that very significant issues are being raised by Mr. Santorum's current high national profile, and that these issues will not disappear even if he is not the nominee.
Many so called conservatives, like on this thread, run around screaming too. That G word embarrasses them, and to them, that G word is a sure loser. So they continue to lambast the users of the G word.

Please tell us what has ever happened that wasn't God's will....and how you would know the difference.

Read my post again, this time with a /s after the first sentence.
“I think that very significant issues are being raised by Mr. Santorum’s current high national profile, and that these issues will not disappear even if he is not the nominee.”
thank you
Everything is God’s will, or it wouldn’t happen.
