An Open Letter to Rick Santorum:
Dear Senator:
As a strong, common-sense Conservative, I have a favor to ask of you. Could you please consider not answering, off the cuff, every question thrown at you? Would you please engage your brain before putting your mouth in gear? Im beginning to see now, how, as an incumbent, you lost your Senate seat by 18 pecentage points to the brain-dead Bob Casey. Women vote Senator; and, they vote in large numbers. Now, please consider this common-sense observation from a Conservative male:
Women have been in combat for years now. Women have used birth control for decades now. Some of your comments are so unbelievably naive. When you said that contraception was bad for America, I thought: Hey Rick, if we didnt have contraception, wed have millions more bastard kids to support through the Welfare system than we have now. People are going to have sex, Rick. Just because you believe it is primarily for procreation, some of us like a little intimacy with our spouse once in awhile without having 19 kids, like the Duggar family that has endorsed you.
Sorry, Rick, but, sometimes, you embarrass some of us who want to support you. And the comment, re: birth control, made by your biggest donor, Foster Friess, was over the top. He reminds me of Clayton Williams, the GOP candidate for Governor, who had the election in the bag against Ma Richards, until he made his stupid comment about women and rape.
Please Rick, you and Foster need to slow down, think, and then speak. Maybe a little more elucidation, before publication?
I wish you well.
Santorum is against abortion, against women in combat, against Govt forcing churches to pay for things they find against their creed.
whats not to like?
He has publicly stated ad nauseum that his and his wifes views on contraception are private and not about govt mandates
So why so canard?

I was supporting Rick Santorum. (See my tagline please.) I agree with many of his views. I would NEVER vote for someone who is Pro-Choice on Abortion and same-sex marriage; never. But he needs to learn how to answer a question with a little more diplomacy if he wants to be elected President of these United States. (You, apparently, missed the entire point of my vanity post.) Right now, he’d be lucky to get 35 percent of the women’s vote. That might explain how he, as a sitting incumbent, lost his Senate seat by 18 points to the brain-dead Bob Casey. And, to insinuate that women in combat would end up with male and female soldiers having sex on the battlefield...... come on; give me a friggin’ break. Santorum dude is just out of touch with the real world. (And probably very sexually frustrated and horny.) Personally, I like having sex, just for sex, with my wife. So do a lot of other men. Rick seems to think the main reason for sex is procreation. And.............
...........how did you like his comment today about Obama’s “phony theology”? While I agree, there are some things, as a candidate for President, you just don’t say. It makes him look like a “not-very-serious” competitor for Obozo. When you do answer, do so with tact. He just blurts out the first thing that comes to his pointed head. I say again: Mr. Santorum needs a little elucidation before publication.
You’ve made me tired. Have a good day.
Sen. Santorum is not out of touch with the “real world” as you put it. I think he is exactly in touch with the real world which is one of the reasons he believes what he believes. I’m a woman and nothing he has said has offended me.
Personally, I think that men who claim to know who women will support are offensive.
PULEEEEEEZE!!!
.......attacking something Santorum said in an interview that had nothing to do with pending legislation?

You’re kidding; right? Things people say in interviews, especially in the Primary season, makes great sound bites for the opposing team to use against them in the GE. HELLO...........
Six months ago it was generally agreed that adultery was wrong. Now its celebrated.

Celebrated by whom? Are you in reference to Newt supporters?
I think that men who claim to know who women will support are offensive
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I think women who get offended because a man states a view that is backed up by demographics and Election Statistics are ignorant.
You want to try that again? With due respect, that is one of the most ridiculous conclusions I’ve ever seen on FR - or any where - for that matter.
I agree with you, that cheerleading for adultery comment was just stupid.
Is that you, Sheriff Babeu?
You chose the wrong profession. Become a campaign advisor. ;-)
Yep, you are right! So many women have been in combat with their own offspring, engaging in chemical/biological warfare against America's future: I.E. future Americans for years and years and years now. It's a testament to God's long-suffering mercy that we are not a smoking crater already.
We used to say, "women and children first" but there is no point in saying that on this Titanic II since the children have been killed off and women are more fit than the men to go down with the ship!
Are you kidding? There is going to be a lot more welfare. They don't want our pittance. They are way past that weak strategy. They want to make sure that we never have any more than a pittance.
