Must be a very bad PetCo. I’ve had my dogs groomed at PetCo for years, and am very satisfied with their services.

Bets are the dog is a terror to trim and clean ears and the groomer just didn’t know how or couldn’t just say no and tell the owner of the dog to go somewhere else.
To: smokingfrog
Just use super glue, it’ll grow back together.

Me too.
I fear...
a terror of a pup who needs to be twilighted to be groomed + new, inexperienced groomer = disaster.

There was a local groomer here that left the room with the dog still in the neck loop, and when she came back the dog had moved off the table and strangled. We cut our own dog’s hair now.

“Estelle Green also claimed her dog Hope was injured during a grooming visit to the store that left the tip of its tail cut off and bleeding.
Hope had other injuries, “including cut eye lashes and whiskers and bleeding toes,” the lawsuit said.”
****
Hers was the only dog injured AND mutilated?? Something’s not right here..

It sounds as if the dog ran into a fan.

Just use super glue, itll grow back together. I've done that before to myself - cut my finger with a knife and it kept opening back up. Not really bad enough for stitches.

It works, have seen it used often on horses over the chest and leg areas where the skin is tight. Superglue and a butterfly bandage.
