In a Southern California campaign appearance, presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich encouraged California attorney Orly Taitz to continue her campaign to question Barack Obama’s constitutional eligibility to hold office.
Taitz, who has filed several lawsuits aimed at securing Obama’s certified birth certificate and introducing evidence of his ineligibility for office, rose to her feet to address Gingrich in Pasadena. She suggested his lagging campaign could only be lifted by raising the issue publicly.
“It could help your campaign like it did Donald Trump,” Taitz said.
Gingrich responded by saying Taitz was better equipped for the role.
“That’s a project you should pursue,” he said.

Sorry, but I don't believe that any of these pejoratives describes the right of the citizenry to be concerned that they be indubitably assured of the constitutional eligibility of a person who aspires to wield the presidential levers of power. The fact that you're okay with the fact that "Obama" has not incontrovertibly done so says quite a bit about you.

trust me, even the people who mock and ridicule the eligibility questioners - including obama, nancy pelosi and the whole democrat establishment - are birthers. Anyone with more than a 3 year old’s ability to reason, have questions about Obama’s history.
I doubt there are very many people in the nation who truly believe obama, but you have tons who don’t care and will die for him. It is a cult.
The strongest proof that he is an incompetent leader is that he waited 3 years to release the BC - real or not.
If he had just put the document out before or just after the election, the issue would never had become as big as it got and it would not have aided in dividing our nation almost as badly as it was prior to the Civil War.

There has been no need since their status was **self evident**! Armies of neighbors, relatives, and friends stood ready to testify of the origins of previous presidents.
Citizens have asked. Military officers have asked, and Obama has spent hundred of thousands of dollars ( his own and tax dollars) to hide his records. A **REAL** natural born American would not do that.
A **REAL** American would be HONORED to promptly prove with the best evidence that they were natural born citizens. They would be especially pleased to do this for a member of the military.

Why do you still remain unconvinced of Obama’s consistent obscuring of his past and his insistent attacks on those who ask legitimate questions??
Perhaps I may agree with you at times that many in our government just don’t really want to know the truth and hence, are negligent to expose it. But aren’t you genuinely curious? Wouldn’t you like to know the facts about our President’s past and what has formed his opinions and world view???
From the thread title I shuddered to think that Gingrich had now boarded the birther train to loserville but then I noticed the source was Wing Nut Daily and was relieved.

If it had been real, a normal person would expect something embarrassing in the BC to justify his stonewalling.
Anyone who doesn’t question Barry’s identity or history is not capable of post elementary school thought.
If that is so it may be because they cannot be mistaken for someone who is supporting Obama by defending his legitimacy.

All of them that have driver's licenses. It is a requirement in most states if not all to show a birth certificate to get a driver's licence.
I wonder if Obama EVER had a drivers license?
I thought birthers weren't satisfied with evidence like this. Anyway, I'm not asking whether you believe you think there's a need to ask them, only whether they would produce actual documentation if asked. I don't think they would.
Curious? About what? Birthers refuse to accept the reality of the situation, reject any and all evidence that conflicts with their worldview and then insist that they’re just asking legitimate questions and happily repeat their self pleasing litanies and long debunked rumors. They are little different from Truthers in that respect.
Obama worked hard, with media collusion, to cover up his Marxists past. But nothing BHO can possibly do will appease the conspiracy minded Birthers any more than anything GWB could have done would have appeased the Truthers.
Just to clarify a point, I think we know enough about BHO’s past to have a clear idea about where his mind is at. We also now have three years for real-world examples that clearly show his mindset in regards to a truly un-American concept of government’s role in society.
To try and play the game based on four years of worthless Birther made up facts and conspiracy mongering is simply foolish.
It’s no surprise that Birthers will welcome those who will ride the crazy train with them.
It is the people not on the train who are crazy. Anyone supporting the Bat sh*t lunatic currently destroying the country should not be questioning the sanity of others who want to see his credentials, and who otherwise question his legitimacy.
