I don’t buy the “stalking horse” idea at all. Hasn’t almost in this race been accused of being Romney’s “stalking horse”. To take as non-commital a comment as this and claim it proves anything is stupid. Didn’t Santorum say he wouldn’t rule out Newt as a Veep choice? Is that proof Newt is a stalking horse?

That's a knee slapper. I'm sure Rick hasn't ruled it out either.

You take Romney’s word for this? Keep in mind that he is a congenital liar.

It’s very hard to see a comment like this as anything but an attempt to undermine Santorum and portray himself as Mr. Important.

Dayum.

That would be the worst possible scenario. Neither one of them could win the election on their own. Together they could not win real good.

I saw Romeny on F&F this a.m. . . . and they were asking IF he was going to “go after Santorum” like he did Newt and then asked this . . . Romney was just slithering through the answer saying how “oh we come from different career backgrounds” and have differences but sure it is a possibility . . . seemed fake to me and just to squirm out of the “negative attack ad” question.

Stalking horses don’t lead the pack. (Newt is losing badly now, guess he is the stalking horse for Romney now too...)

Well at least we won't have to ‘speculate’ about methods of operation. I do wish Romney was asked if he or anyone with his campaign, has personally had this conversation with Santorum.

You don't have a case to rest, and there are no facts for us to face. It's time for you to get real and quit being absurd. You are nothing but a propagandist when you try to peddle this silliness. Santorum dropping out helps Romney - it doesn't hurt him, as data after data (and common sense) proves. You can't keep up this narrative because it has no basis in fact. The latest data showing this is from Rasmussen http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2846855/posts : Perhaps more tellingly, Santorum now trounces Romney 55% to 34% in a one-on-one matchup among likely GOP primary voters. This is the first time any challenger has led Romney nationally in a head-to-head match-up. Santorum also leads Romney head-to-head in Michigan. Nationally, Romney still wins 47% to 38% paired against Gingrich and 47% to 42% running against only Paul.

And it is hypocritical:

Gingrich says Romney on VP list

It's time to knock it off.

Romney, with a tight leash, would be a good chief-of-staff to a conservative president.

Not a good press secretary, though.

I agree Santo and Willard will loose against Zerodamus..
ONLY Newt has the mockzy the anti-venom to go against that snake..

Assuming America HAS NOT become Sodom or Gomorrah..
And requires pure evil to run it.. because it is doped up and slimed with porn of all types..
