Santorum ENDORSED Romney in 2008 as the TRUE conservative - he wanted to be his VP in 2008.

Santorum would not allow romney on his ticket.LOL! Why, do you think Santorum would hold out for Arlen Specter as his running mate? He endorsed both Specter and Romney so it's a toss-up I guess. Aside from abortion, there isn't one principle Santorum hasn't proved he's willing to compromise on to please the establishment.
