It should, especially when Romney claims to be part of the "true church" and the world over knows that Jesus never mentioned magical underwear as being important to the life of a believer. In fact, the world over knows this is just a cult practice and makes Romney look nuts.
And if a president is going to wear magical underwear, he might as well wear a metal hat to protect himself from those evil alien scanning rays.
On the bright side, the more Romney is in the news, the more he exposes the silliness of Mormonism.
It will be nice to see some mindless mormon zombies wake up and research the difference between the bible and the mormon bibles and how they contradict each other.
According to Joseph Smith, the Garden of Eden was located in Independence, Missouri. After they were expelled, Adam and Eve were given the sacred long johns with Masonic symbols to cover their nakedness.
THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH ABOUT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA
up since his nomination exposing all of those things you mention.
I will say that Sean Hannity back in 2008 did try and make an issue of most of it...but the vast majority of the media ignored it completely.
Obama's entire life history is one constant screed against America, and now he is President and enacting it in law when he can (unconstitutional law I might add) and by Presidential directive or executive order fiat when he can't. Equally unconstitutional.
He should be tried and impeached and out of office in abject disgrace, with criminal prosecution to follow for his and Holders crimes against this nation, its constitution and her people.
(As long as you're consistent...not sure we've seen on the Obama-Rev. Jeremiah Wright threads of 2008 advocating that FREEPERs "lay off" Rev. Wright & Obama...come to think of it, can't say you've been "out there" on threads telling people who comment upon Muslims' alleged "72 virgins" awaiting them...Is it only Romney threads where you rush in to indirectly defend Mormonism...or do you defend all religions with equal temerity...like Rev. Wright & his UCC church & Islam, too?)
Amen and spot on. BZ.

In this case, it’s not about Romney. It is about hatred of Mormon(ISM as the haters call it). There are plenty of valid reasons to ridicule and discount Romney without resorting to zealous hatred. I’m not Mormon, but this is disgusting... I’d prefer to promote the good things Newt can do instead of casting doubt on Romney because of some nutty connection with underwear.
I’m with you Jeff.
I got ten issues against Mitt before I ever think about his religion and even then it’s not a consideration as to my objection of his as a candidate.
Being LDS ain’t a problem.
Being a multiple choice candidate who stands for nothing more than himself is the problem.
A cult leader wearing magical garments hidden under his clothes, and wearing them for a mandatory 24 yours a day is a big revelation to many Americans who are trying to evaluate whether they should choose him to lead our nation, and who thought that he was merely a guy who happened to be born into a Mormon family.
That leads to learning that he is a Bishop, and is a powerful figure in that religion, and then they find out that he had a private meeting with his “Prophet” before he would run for President.
The more we learn about Romney and his unique religion, the more bizarre and alien he seems.
Catholic doctrine is that they are the true church.
Collectively, all Christians say they are the “true” church (which I agree with because Jesus Christ is my perosnal Savior).
Devout Jews wear special shirts and caps and believe they have the truth.
Are all to be rejected by anyone not belonging to or adhereing to the same religious practise because of their religion?
You can’t have it both ways and maintain any reasonable discourse or position.
Come on...this is not the issue, nor should it be as long as the religion is not calling for an overthrow of constitutional government (liek Sharia La2w does), or criminally infringe on the rights of others. The more some folks try and make it the issue the more bigoted and rediculous they look. Allow the man to worship as he pleases and go after him on the correct issues in a presidential election...his stances on the issues and his record.
Romney is saying some good things now, but his history has not been what he is now saying and I personally, if I don’t have to, would rather have someone with a long record of not only saying it, but proving it by what he or she has done.
On that basis, I as an active member of the same Chruch (LDS) will vote for Santorum here in Idaho over Romney.
If we fail and Romney becomes the nominee, I will vote for him over Obama because what Obama represents is another order of magnitude worse.
Pious Jews worship God, they don't worship to become Gods themselves.
What about any VOWS and/or COVENANTS he has made in the TEMPLE®?
Would THEY be an 'issue' that should matter?
Is Mitt a Man of his Word?
Do YOU have a Temple Recommend?
Are YOU wearing the 'garment' right now?
Do YOU abstain from eating MEAT during warm weather?
It’s early yet!
I guess that SLC Headquarters will be hearing from you?
