It should, especially when Romney claims to be part of the "true church" and the world over knows that Jesus never mentioned magical underwear as being important to the life of a believer. In fact, the world over knows this is just a cult practice and makes Romney look nuts.
And if a president is going to wear magical underwear, he might as well wear a metal hat to protect himself from those evil alien scanning rays.
On the bright side, the more Romney is in the news, the more he exposes the silliness of Mormonism.
It will be nice to see some mindless mormon zombies wake up and research the difference between the bible and the mormon bibles and how they contradict each other.
Catholic doctrine is that they are the true church.
Collectively, all Christians say they are the “true” church (which I agree with because Jesus Christ is my perosnal Savior).
Devout Jews wear special shirts and caps and believe they have the truth.
Are all to be rejected by anyone not belonging to or adhereing to the same religious practise because of their religion?
You can’t have it both ways and maintain any reasonable discourse or position.
Come on...this is not the issue, nor should it be as long as the religion is not calling for an overthrow of constitutional government (liek Sharia La2w does), or criminally infringe on the rights of others. The more some folks try and make it the issue the more bigoted and rediculous they look. Allow the man to worship as he pleases and go after him on the correct issues in a presidential election...his stances on the issues and his record.
Romney is saying some good things now, but his history has not been what he is now saying and I personally, if I don’t have to, would rather have someone with a long record of not only saying it, but proving it by what he or she has done.
On that basis, I as an active member of the same Chruch (LDS) will vote for Santorum here in Idaho over Romney.
If we fail and Romney becomes the nominee, I will vote for him over Obama because what Obama represents is another order of magnitude worse.
