Barack Obama King Henry VIII.
There fixed it.
I'm not having a problem going into it.
Read the book:
Why would you just post one sentence?
And why post a blog under News?
Post the whole blog entry and then it will be less of an issue. The ricochet blog isn’t on the FR excerpt-only list.

Rush is using this article for talking points today, and it is 6 pages long.
Rush has referenced this article in his program today. States he plans to examine it during the course of the program.
"Catholic social teaching" is best addressed by the European right wing (organicism, integralism, distributism, social credit, national syndicalism, corporatism, and ultimately fascism/falangism). Because the American right wing is relentlessly capitalist and (classical) liberal, the American Church had no one else to turn to but the Democrats.
The notorious "right wing extremist" Father Charles Coughlin (perhaps the first politicized preacher) began as a supporter of FDR and the New Deal (even going so far as to say "the new deal is chr*st's deal") before turning against it for not going far enough. He also advocated the nationalization of the financial sector, the railroads, and key industries. How did this guy ever get to be considered a "right winger?" By associating capitalism with the Jews and being anti-Semitic (though he later supported Israel as a "bulwark against Communism," something most American conservative politicians of the time were not willing to do). It is this same logic that labels Huey P. Long and Dr. Townshend as "right wingers."
With regard to the coextensiveness of "church" and state, one could argue that in the Divinely-ordained and regulated government of Biblical Israel this distinction did not exist (even though there was a "division of powers" between the king, the priesthood, and the sages in the Sanhedrion). Similarly, tithing for the purpose of caring for the poor (among other things) was a Divine Law just like "thou shalt not kill." What both Lockeans and socialists fail to grasp is that in this case, legally-mandated provision for the poor was but one aspect of a Theocracy. The removing of this duty from religion to rationalism/pragmatism is one of the tragedies of mankind's plummet through history.
For what its worth, clicking past the catholic channel on TV I saw a priest on a talk show railing against Obama’s order as anti-catholic and anti-american.
He was not much impressed by Obama’s “compromise”.
Also, for balance, see “Notre Dame Faculty to Obama: This Is a Grave Violation of Religious Freedom and Cannot Stand”
Its interesting to note that Notre Dame gave Obama an honorary degree not long ago, proving that kissing up to the guy buys you nothing.
As a practicing Catholic I am saddened by the lack of understanding of political questions on the part of many priest and bishops. Many in the Church seem to think that the moral authority of the Church has been waning for some time now. By setting up this problem Obama is seeking to divide Catholics on the issue of contraception, an issue that is under the radar but potentially divisive for American Catholics. Perhaps the Church in America has been unable to grasp the nature of the anti-constitutional nature of all this social engineering by the Progressives because this country was founded by Protestants. But ultimately ideology is a poor substitute for Faith.
Centuries of fuedalism have left their mark. Many people are still looking for the lord of the manor to take care of them. Socialism is just a modern form of fuedalism wearing a mask of concern for the common man.
Didn’t ND also cover up reference to Jesus when the president gave a speech there. Deny Jesus in public, puts that decision and those that made it toast. Jesus own words...deny me before man and I will deny thee before my father in heaven....
Rush has been discussing this all day today by explaining that Cardinal Bernadin was the big pro Democratic church leader that sold out to the devil.
“In my lifetime, to my increasing regret, the Roman Catholic Church in the United States has lost much of its moral authority. It has done so largely because it has subordinated its teaching of Catholic moral doctrine to its ambitions regarding an expansion of the administrative entitlements state. In 1973, when the Supreme Court made its decision in Roe v. Wade, had the bishops, priests, and nuns screamed bloody murder and declared war, as they have recently done, the decision would have been reversed. Instead, under the leadership of Joseph Bernadin, the Cardinal-Archbishop of Chicago, they asserted that the social teaching of the Church was a seamless garment, and they treated abortion as one concern among many. Here is what Cardinal Bernadin said in the Gannon Lecture at Fordham University that he delivered in 1983:”
