First, there was NO "Compromise", it was forced down religious organizations' throats.

Second, NOTHING IS FREE. Religious organizations will pay for this whether directly of indirectly.

I won't surprised if the Supreme Court strikes down Obamacare, they don't come out the next day and say, “No, sorry we don't agree with that ruling. The implementation of Obamacare will proceed on schedule. Next Question?”

I trust that the bishops, and all the other real Christian leaders in our country, simply will not accept this royal command, and will continue to speak out against it.

I was late to church today, because I had to plug my car in and warm it up to get it started, but when I came in our Pastor was speaking about contraception and the right of Catholics to their faith and beliefs. He also said something about a pro-contraceptive editorial attacking the Church in our local paper. I don’t know if he mentioned Our Muslim Leader or Obamacare before I came in, but I imagine he was following instructions from our Bishop.

In any case, it seems we are hearing something about this, even in the Socialist Republic of Vermont.

This issue should be used to defeat Obama, even if the Establishment Republicans are willing to go along with it. We should make it clear that this is a Fascist imposition on our the First Amendment and our Constitutional Freedoms, without precedent. (There are precedents, of course, but this goes way beyond them.) I think Palin, Santorum, and Gingrich will all push this, and I hope that the Tea Party will use it to get more conservatives into congress and shovel that useless jerk Boner out.

So, now we’ll see if those who are concerned about the Constitution have as much enthusiasm for keeping their Constitutional Rights as those who riot and have mass demonstrations for their pet benefit or violation of the Constitution.

My understanding is that most Catholic hospitals and healthcare organizations are self insured.

Probably several hundred thousand employees.

Bomama is still faced with a 1st Amendment issue if they don't fold on the issue.

If they fold, you know they have placed commerce above life, the church and God.

What does it mean if Obama has ‘’a very deep belief’’ in something yet is perfectly willing to compromise that belief within less than a week of public opposition? It means he’s completely driven by political expediency.

Unfortunately for Obama, the Catholic Church also has deeply-held beliefs which 2000 years of existence have proven it is not willing to compromise. Not to mention the deeply-held beliefs of the radical feminists whom Obama pretended to support with his original policy yet has now stabbed in the back for the sake of his selfish political interests. And then there are the insurance companies whose deeply-held belief in making a profit does not allow them to give away their products for free.

Jacob Lew told "Fox News Sunday" that the compromise offered last week to address objections by the Catholic Church is clear and consistent with the president's "very deep belief that a woman has a right to all forms of preventive health care, including contraception." No president's "view" can ever become a Constitutional and legal law. Policy at no level can supplant the legislative branch of the U.S.

Our elected representatives can ignore mail; they can disconnect their phones, they can turn off email. All verifiable actions.
I can't think of a clearer form of "high crime and misdemeanor" than the evasion of the duty they were elected to perform.

I just had an interesting thought: if this giant Obamacare law was passed by members of Congress who admit they didn't even read it, and is so large that, most likely, no one person could read and understand it, how would it be possible for anyone to state firmly what the actual text is? For example, if Obama wanted to implement some new hare-brained idea, what would stop him from replacing the current page 5,003 with an entirely different page 5,003 which says something entirely different, and then saying that it was there all along, a la Animal Farm? And that's not even taking into consideration a judge who is in Obama's pocket who merely creatively interprets known text to say whatever Obama wants it to say, despite the actual text. You know, like they do with the Constitution now.

Why does everyone adopt their Language and argue the issue according to the way they Frame it. If you agree that Obama has the Authority to Compromise on your God Given rights according to the Constitution,then it is over,he has no Authority to Trample your Constitutional Right to Practice your Faith and he does Not have the authority to Order Insurance companies to cover anything and what to charge for it so lets stop jumping up and down and trying to Rationalize all these left wing Absurdities. Someone in authority should hold a News Conference and say the President is out of Control and is Violating his Oath of Office on a daily basis and he should skip a Round of Golf and get a Copy of The Constitution for Dummies

Just don’t go along. What can this guy do if the insurance companies don’t go along? The answer is nothing. He would be dead in the water until November when he will surely be gone now.
