Memo to the Republican Establishment, Part II.
First of all, let me apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I realize it's been 15 days since I've penned (as the Mittster would say) my last memo to you. . . . Good manners dictate that I convey my most heartfelt congratulations to you for what you did to old Newt in your aggressive ad campaign. I mean, you guys really did him in. As we say in Louisiana, you made minced meat out of that boy.
You rounded up a bunch of Wall Street money and turned it over to the Willie Horton ad guy to destroy one of your own. You boys really crack me up . . . I don't think we Democrats could come up with something quite so clever. You have accomplished quite a feat.
The problem that you have now is not Newt. It may take a few months, but you will get him under control. Your in-house network -- the boys over at Fox . . . thought they had wired Newt up to go positive, but they found out it is difficult to control a Tulane man. Don't worry, he just got sucker punched. Soon enough he and all of his "baggage" will be sent packing. . . .
You know how it goes, you squish one gnat and you gotta deal with another. Your latest nuisance comes in the form of an anti-contraception activist and 18-point loser, Rick Santorum. . . . I know you don't need my help in disposing of this loser.

Filter out what Carville says that IS partisan rhetoric. What remains is an accurate analysis and mocking criticism of the GOP-e.

This is true. Or, perhaps, the GOP-e does see our side but is wanting too much to shove their collective wills down our throat in order to bend us.

There are worse turnip trucks to have fallen off, that’s a fine old IH. You don’t see those much anymore, let alone in good repair.
I can’t stand Fox anymore I go to CNN as much or more now. It seems they have better coverage and all Fox does is get people on to give opinions, so they can push their cnadidate. Fox just doesn’t do it for me.
I can’t stand the way he casually dismisses Santorum. He does it because Santorum is a REAL Catholic that lives his faith. Carville should be kicked out of the Catholic Church, along with the rest of the pro-death democrats that call themselves Catholic. Carville needs to open up his Bible and read it.
I took that to mean that the Koch brothers should secure Newt a tenured job teaching history somewhere as a sinecure, to take him out of the primary picture once his star begins to fade some more. (Presuming Newt will fail in the Southern primaries, which he probably will not. But you know Serpent Head is only trying to be helpful, nod wink.)
Although we see it differently, thank you for your service to this country, Doofer. I can never neglect to do that.
