BTW - I thought Callista was wonderful - she has a great public speaking presence and more optimism that Mrs Romney and Mrs Santorum. No stage fright - must be on account of her public music appearances.
Newt was awesome. He is such a natural on stage.
The crowd was really with him, all the way. They listened.
He is the only person who can turn this mess around.
The speakers were told to make unity speeches. I loved it
when he took the fight to the establishment.

I’ll have to say — Newt really “took it” to the Establishment with this speech. He’s not messing around. He knows who THEY are. I’m really glad he stayed positive — he’s just a natural at all of this.
I also thought Callista was nice — she seemed nervous, but who wouldn’t be. She seems like a very quiet, down to earth and thoughtful person...not the meddling monster we have right now posing as the FLOTUS.
Interestingly, the liberals have been running ads against newt, here in Ohio, for several days. Can’t imagine they would waste their money against a non-threat.
Speaking of the establishment, I just saw a Fox babe say Newt seemed “subdued” and she tried to get to him after his speech to ask him if he had given up on conservatives.
What speech did she watch???

She had her talking points before the speech because she OBVIOUSLY didn’t see the same speech that we did. Even if I wasn’t biased (which I am :)) I certainly would not have called that subdued.

We now suffer from a movement of people that wont stand their ground, wont push back, and hope that if you run to a shinny new thing, the bad men will go away.
I’m sick of retreat in the face of the Establishment.
It’s almost (when looking at the conservative movement today) like being Gen. Washington in New York looking at his troops running after the British fired on volley, wondering how he was supposed to win a war with an army like that.

I recently had not so much a premonition as a revelation, years of putting things together, that all came together suddenly into a COMPLETE warning, premonition, picture, for me a few weeks about Romney: He, more than Obama, would assure America's fall from Grace. Romney is an agent of depravity, of creating blatant abominations before God, not only with the $50 on-demand cheap-and-easy "minor procedure" abortions in the Mass. Health Care plan, which is wicked enough, but the pure DEPRAVITY of solidly backing and supporting a Gay Youth Pride organization that "reaches out" to kids as young as 12!
Leading innocent children astray, encouraging them to embrace in their peers or declare in themselves sexual deviancy -- in children! My revelation was that the REAL test isn't Obama that God might put before us, but whether God-fearing people who shoud know better would abandon God and vote FOR such an agent of evil in order to avoid Obama; it occured to me that if God-fearing people succeeded in making such a monster the most powerful political figure in America, THEN God would surely abandon us because we put country before God.
If Obama won because righteous people refused to rationalize voting for Romney, I believe God would shed his blessings on us and help us overcome the evils of Obama. But if God-loving people rationalized giving victory to a person they KNEW was responsible for heinous offenses to God, I think God would respond with wrath at a people who abandoned faith that He would take care of them.
God also tests Christians with Newt -- the ones who insist that Santorum is "better" because he never cheated on his wife, over Newt who did and then made amends and has by all indications turned his life around. The Bible is filled with stories of how flawed sinners were of great value as tools of the Almighty, whereas those who beseeched God to recognize them as better than their peers because of their cleaner pasts, were rebuked.

I saw her...it was that Andrea Tantaros (sp) from “The Five”...and I sat with my head cocked like the RCA Victor dog too, wondering what speesh she heard, because she is either just plain stupid, a Romney bot, or she did not hear a word Newt said.
