I am sorry, but to refer to Catholics as a clan or tripe is offensive to me

I'm joining the Catholics wholeheartedly! How dare my government who's salaries I am paying including the self appointed almighty one tell our doctors they must kill the innocents. I heard on the radio this AM that Kenya had to change it's constitution to allow abortion in order to receive future funds from the US! The president held up funds until they agreed. This administration is murderous! God help America!!!!

Call me anything you want, as long as 0bambi winds up on the short end of the stick.

BTW, called my rep and sen (who are both up for reelection) and reminded them that this is an election year and to inform the resident that he can put this rule right where the sun don’t shine.

Well, they've been called worse.

I called them worse after they sucked up to Obama, praising him like the Messiah at Notre Dame, giving him trophies for being the most extreme pro-abortionist in the WH, ever...

Sr. Carol Keehan, aka: Obama’s Nun.

What’s strange is that Keehan was pushing for Catholic hospitals to perform abortions, but not pay for them. How does she reconcile that?

Obamacare not only includes abortion, but assisted suicide, and Keehan was the top Catholic supporter of Obamacare, even testified before Congress in support of Obamacare.

Another problem with an article like this is the parochial nature of the argument. It permits Obama to divide the Christian faith by making this an argument over contraception/abortion rather than the narrowing of the First Amendment Free Exercise/Establishment Clause into a Sunday in church, “freedom of worship”.

Here is my takeaway:
1. Obama, the former constitutional law professor, so miscalculates the overwhelming reaction that during an election year he imposes measures that violate the First Amendment right to freedom of religion. What a rookie - even after 3 years - ojt is not working!
2. Most importantly, if reelected, Obama will be completely unrestrained by the electorate and will impose as yet unknown government rules and regulations that will satisfy his sole vision of the world. This November is “make or break” for this country.

“Even former Democratic Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper, a Catholic from Erie, Pa., who cast a crucial vote in favor of Obamacare in 2010, said recently that she would have never voted for the health care bill if she had known Obamacare would force Catholic hospitals and charities to provide contraception and abortion pills. “

Shoulda read the bill you stupid slut!

Carl Rove was on Greta last night and before I could turn him off, he started talking about the Obama war with the Catholic Church, and I listened.

Greta asked Rove if this issue would stick around or if Obama had successfully put it off until after the election. Rove said that this story isn’t going away, partially because some Catholics, led by Ed Gillespie, are starting a national movement for freedom to practice their religion according to the beliefs of that religion. Rove noted that Catholics are a very large demographic group in this country, that includes Hispanics and many union workers.

What Obama underestimated in this issue is that, while individuals who profess to be Catholic, may not follow all the tenets of their church, or even agree with those beliefs, they still respect the Catholic Church, itself. It’s like insulting a family member when Obama insults the Catholic Church. The fallen or disaffected Catholics, jump to the defense - and other Christians will, as well.

The fact that Sr. Keehan, Obama’s Nun has taken a stand in defense of the Catholic Church is proof of this.

I am a Christian who follows the ancient, catholic faith, practicing the Roman Rite in communion with many other rites. Jesus the Christ started this church.

Anyone is welcome to join and follow the fulfillment of Judiasm and human salvation by believing Sacred Tradition, Sacred Scripture and The Magesterium.

In this case, I am not part of a clan and/or tribe.

I am American with Celtic roots. My Irish background is as "clannish" as I get.

I agree wholeheartedly with your comment.

Also

Even Chris Matthews on MSNBC is calling for a retreat.

Who the hell gives a damn what this jackass has to say about anything. He's so compromised and conflicted he should be in a mental hospital.

Not only that, it is not just Catholicism and her teachings at stake here... Catholics are in the spotlight, yes, but this is an affront to all religious liberties. If anyone thinks that mollifying only the Catholic Church on the issue of contraception, is all that need be done, then they are not thinking correctly on the issue. It is a first amendment issue and Catholicism, along with all other religious entities, needs to be fighting this as an affront to our collective religious rights.

Who Am I?

I was born in one country, raised in another.

My father was born in another country.

I was not his only child.

He fathered several children with numerous women.

I became very close to my mother, as my father showed no interest in me.

My mother died at an early age from cancer.

Although my father deserted me and my mother raised me, I later wrote a book idolizing my father not my mother.

Later in life, questions arose over my real name.

My birth records were sketchy.

No one was able to produce a legitimate, reliable birth certificate.

I grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity, as it was widely accepted in my new country, but I practiced non-traditional beliefs and didn't follow Christianity, except in the public eye under scrutiny.

I worked and lived among lower-class people as a young adult, disguisingmyself as someone who really cared about them.

That was before I decided it was time to get serious about my life and embarked on a new career.

I wrote a book about my struggles growing up.

It was clear to those who read my memoirs, that I had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned me as a child.

I became active in local politics in my 30's then, with help behind the scenes, Iliterally burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office in my40s.

They said I had a golden tongue and could talk anyone into anything.

I had a virtually non-existent resume, little work history, and no experience in leading a single organization.

Yet I was a powerful speaker and citizens were drawn to me, as though I were a magnet and they were small roofing tacks.

I drew incredibly large crowds during my public appearances.

This bolstered my ego.

At first, my political campaign focused on my country's foreign policy...

I was very critical of my country in the last war, and seized every opportunity to bash my country.

But what launched my rise to national prominence were my views on the country's economy.

I pretended to have a really good plan on how we could do better, and every poor person would be fed and housed for free.

I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess.

It was the free market, banks and corporations.

I decided to start making citizens hate them and, if they became envious of others who did well, the plan was clinched tight.

I called mine "A People's Campaign".

That sounded good to all people.

I was the surprise candidate because I emerged from outside the traditional path of politics and was able to gain widespread popular support.

I knew that, if I merely offered the people 'hope', together we could change our country and the world.

So, I started to make my speeches sound like they were on behalf of the downtrodden, poor, ignorant to include "persecuted minorities".

My true views were not widely known and I kept them unknown, until after I became my nation's leader.

I had to carefully guard reality, as anybody could have easily found out what I really believed, if they had simply read my writings and examined those people I associated with. I'm glad they didn't.

Then I became the most powerful man in the world.

And then the world learned the truth.

Who am I?
