It was no secret inside the West Wing that Bill Daley, a Catholic with deep connections to the church hierarchy, vehemently opposed the administrations proposal to require church-run hospitals and universities to give their employees free contraception.
But it was the way he pushed his case that aggravated some women on President Barack Obamas senior staff, according to current and former administration officials. In early November, without consulting them, Daley set up a four-man Oval Office meeting for himself, Obama, New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan and Vice President Joe Biden, who both shared the view that the policy would sink the president with Catholic voters.

... as usual, it’s not obama’s fault - his staff did it, not him, he is “above the fray” etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum ad nauseum!
Sink him with Catholic voters? Well, that remains to be seen. Aren`t most Catholics in agreement with Obama`s social justice agenda?
Besides, the “media” will see him through this little dustup, just as they always do. He`ll emerge from it looking heroic to the sheeple.

Most of Obama's "lady friends" are from that class who send their servants out for shopping. They rarely sully their hands pawing around in grocery stores.
That's why they actually believe the only source of condoms is the US Government!
You get the impression from the article that Zero is pissed that he’s lost his ability to vote “present” on this issue. This isn’t the Keystone where he can kill it by putting it off, because by putting it off it will continue to grow.
Happened to stumble across the Rachel Madcow show last night — where she had one seriously nasty and haggard looking liberal Democratic female rep on spinning this as a crisis “manufactured” by the GOP ....because ...get this ....due to ALL the good news on the economy!!
One truly had to step back and wonder if these people just aren’t seriously on crack.
Just two weeks ago Obama was lecturing us that Jesus would raise taxes on the rich to fund all his great redistribution ideas and so if we are really BELEIVING Christians we should support his agenda, much like many of these same Catholics did in supporting Obama-care passage..
In others words: liberal political positions based on religious beliefs are allowed, but Conservative positions based on religious beliefs are a violation of the constitution. This works much like the liberal rules on hypocracy.
The Bishop, who was at the meeting, said on seeBS yesterday, that obummer promised him the exact opposite.
What really happened was obummer made a commitment to the Catholic Bishop and valerie garret, obummer's boss, told him to go to his room, and moochelle will be up with the whip.
Obama will offer some type of waiver sop and the press will call him a hero, and the church will eat the peas and again embrace the dark side. The left will complain little which will show what a bad deal it is.
It would seem that this whole deal is some type of Kabuki Theatre, In the end even the church will be beholding to Obama.
You just have to shake your head in utter disbelief when you listen to the BS on the left. The sad part is there are a lot of “them”. If you check out the article at Politico and read the comments you’ll be ill.
I hate to sound like a crazy person but if we don’t change course in the next election this party we call the United States of America is over.
N-i-c-e deconstruction-—thanks.
Note to all people who work with Catholic charities, schools and other religious institutions.
If you do not like the Church’s policy, you are free to leave the Church, get a job elsewhere and get insurance from them.

"Call me Rev Obama. I just got ordained."
"And here's 'Sr Michele' on the day she entered the novitiate."
Did they really think anything else would happen?
Cal Thomas at CPAC said Maddow was the best argument he’d ever seen for state-subsidized birth control.
