Many men who see combat never want to talk about it and spend the rest of their lives wishing to forget it. I’m not sure it is a good idea to subject a woman to that, not because she is less emotionally stable but because women are often the nurturers and comforters of our society. How difficult it might be to show that side of themselves after witnessing the brutalities of war.

When a woman’s man gets messed up due to the brutality’s of war, she gets messed up too.

So Johnny comes back from war missing his legs and an arm as well as an eye, and maybe his manhood is gone too.

How is this not a bitch for the Woman married to him?
How is this worse than her having been in battle?

And if she dumps his ass because he is broken and no longer a producer, how is this good for him?

I’m not making judgements. I’m just asking serious questions.

Why not let women decide since they are part of society?

The fact of the matter is that women have been fighting and dying for the past decade with no public outcry. I think society has already made their decision.
