Well, that didn’t take long.
A major Susan G. Komen for the Cure donor has called for the breast cancer foundation to “clean house” including Komen founder and chief executive Nancy Brinker.
In a letter to friends and family, published by The UK Guardian Wednesday, Eve Ellis, who spent six years on Komen NYC’s Board and raised over $250,000 for the group, explained that she does not believe Brinker’s claims that the decision to cut grants to Planned Parenthood were not politically motivated.
Ellis wrote, in the letter sent Monday, that in order to restore her trust Komen must replace the Board, Brinker must resign, and Karen Handel, the former senior vice president for public policy must be terminated (Handel resigned Tuesday).
“A clean house would enable Komen to carry on its much-needed, admirable work without the baggage of being the organization that had actually deliberated on and subsequently made the heartless decision to defund Planned Parenthood and to endanger the heath of thousands of women,” she wrote. “When we have a clean house, we should get answers to how this happened, and a clear refocus that Komen stands for all women’s health.”
According to Ellis, Brinker cannot be trusted and that politics were definitely at play in the decision to pull funding — not just because Handel, the supposed force behind the decision — but also because of Brinker’s past ties to the Bush administration and the fact that Brinker told affiliates on Saturday that former Bush White House Press secretary Ari Fleischer would be helping Komen with “crisis communications.”
“Nancy Brinker was a George W. Bush Ambassador appointee and is a Bush family friend. Is it just coincidence that the head of Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards, is the daughter of that feisty progressive nemesis of the Bush family, the late Governor of Texas, Ann Richards?” she wrote.
Ellis added that while the reversal of the decision to defund Planned Parenthood was “a step in the right direction” more needs to be done and that a “clean house” is the way to restore trust.
Brinker founded Komen in 1982. Cecile Richards has been with Planned Parenthood since 2006.
Nancy is getting a good dose of the evilness of these rabid abortion supporters. She should immediately man-up and disassociate herself with them.
As far as the Bush connection goes, I believe that Laura Bush is pro-choice and her daughters are fairly liberal too.

Very disappointed in the course Komen chose to handle this. A flip of the wee birdie IMO would have been in order. I read that the news of Komen cutting off PP actually caused an increase of donations during that brief period of time.
Once again the media is not sharing the actual facts. Of course there is no way to know if all the money Planned Parenthood has received from Komen is being spent to help women receive free breast exams. It is supposed to be spent on the free exams and not abortions. Hopefully they made sure the money they gave PP was only used for free breast exams. Of course PP has initiated the murder of millions of babies since it’s inception, so hard to trust they didn’t use some of the Komen money to murder babies. An organization founded by a eugenicist, who in her writings called the “negro race”, “weeds in the human garden that needed to be eliminated”. An organization that has started in the black inner cities and killed far more black babies than white babies.
This Ellis bitch is using the opportunity to move Brinker out and make sure one of her pals gets the position. She knows she’s lying, that the decision had nothing to do with politics. The charter of The Komen Foundation clearly forbids funds being channeled to another charity under investigation, and that’s why Komen stopped sending money.
But what the media refuse to point out is the Komen had not cut a single penny from the funds set aside for free breast exams, the money PP would have received was going to be directed to other organizations and used for free breast exams.
The media made it sound like the Komen Foundation was spending less on free breast exams, they didn’t share the truth. They made it sound like Komen, who was supposed to be helping fight breast cancer, was spending less.
The MSM remains the single greatest threat to our freedom. As long as they control the messages being peddled to the sheeple, America continues its decline.
So much of Sangers writings were restricted from public view until recently, and of course the media has not shared the truth about this vile elitist... Here are some quotes from her writing on The Negro Project, launched in Harlem in 1939.
She talked about using prominent blacks to take the lead, because if white people did the blacks might think there was a plan to reduce their population. Very touching what she wrote about using ministers, because black were very religious.
“The minister’s work is also important and he should be trained, perhaps by the Federation as to our ideals and the goal that we hope to reach. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

And to think they still hand out an award every year in this monster’s honor.
After this mess Komen may not have much money to send anywhere.
Barbara and Laura Bush have publicly stated they support “choice”.
There are plenty of ways to support cancer without supporting killing.

That would be a shame if their good work fighting breast cancer is affected by this fiasco. They should have stayed the course and kept trying to get the word out, “We are not cutting back on the money we donate to organizations who coordinate free breast exams, we just will not be giving Planned Parenthood fund for this purpose. The money designated for PP will be going to (another charity setting up free breast exams)
Once again the an organization will not stand up to the media and call them for the misinformation they are spewing. They folded and perhaps less money will be raised by the Komen Foundation.
I read that The Komen Foundation made this decision back in December, but it was Planned Parenthood who 'leaked' the information this week. I guess they needed that 6 weeks or so to line up their willing accomplices in 'outrage', so that as soon as the news broke, there would be a 'spontaneous' firestorm against Komen.
Too bad the folks at Komen didn't stand their ground and say they wouldn't bend to extortion. The millions they received just after the news broke should have clued them in to the fact that supporting PP meant that they were missing out on a whole host of supporters, but I guess they didn't want to make their liberal friends mad, thinking that the libs would stop giving. But wouldn't that say something about the libs who stopped giving money for Breast Cancer research simply because the pre-eminent foundation didn't throw some money toward their favorite abortion provider?
Why isn’t PP donating money to Komen? Ought to be a two way street. It sounds like Komen and PP are nothing more than an employment agency for rich bitches.
