WND is an interesting site...I wonder if these numbers are accurate. If they are accurate, this is stunningly bad news.

But not completely surprising - hopefully, this spurs movement toward a non-Romney candidate. Romney is clearly a loser candidate, arguably worse than McCain.

Maybe these folks figure Romney will be the nominee, so they might as well vote for Obama. What’s the difference?

There is an argument to be made, and I’ve heard it here at FR, that 4 more years of a lame duck barky would be less bad than 4-8 years of mitt. I don’t subscribe to the argument particularly while mitt hasn’t yet won the GOP nomination. There are also some SoCons who will not vote for Newt.

White Guilt (and fear of the "race card" again) raises its ugly head again.

We won't have this if we have Herman Cain or Allen West on the ticket.

Either that, or people have not put down the bong while glued to the tube watching "Dancing with the Stars." I am sure there are some GOP voters who "toke", too. (Gary Johnson types).

20% of registered Republicans in name only are PAID by George Soros!

That is the correct title of this thread.

interesting but flawed. Paul does better than the other three according to this poll and the fact that they say “very conservative” are “leaning” sorta makes it skewed somehow...we’d have to see the questions.

No REAL Republican could ever support ZERO.
It is either some one messing with the polls or a RAT claiming to be a Republican.
The 20% is believable FOR THE ENTIRE COUNTRY! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

I knew when 2012 got here there would start to be stories about how everything is better and really everyone loves Obama. I don’t buy it for a second. The press is going to try and depress all Republicans. In 1980 they had stories of how Carter was going to beat Regan also. We have to get behind our nominee no matter who it is and beat Obama.

For the most part everyone I work with is a Republican and no one I know would vote for Obama. This is in an office of about 175 people.

I call this XXXXXB/S!

I think the “poll” reflects newly registered Republicans via Mr. Soros and his crony organizations monetary support to have them active in the Republican Primaries to help bring a little chaos to the RP..

Mr. Soros KNOWS what is best for the all of his servants on this planet..

A WND Poll? Gee, I am sure they check the GOP credentials of anyone who pushes a VOTE OBAMA button on their laptop.

Two reasons why this should not be ignored as it may be accurate. First, the brawl that is our primary is turning a lot of people off. As we don’t have an inspirational candidate, it just looks like a lot of mud slinging.

Second, and more importantly, there was a margin of people who claim to be GOP who voted for Obama first time around. Voting against him this time will require for them to make an unconcious admission that they were wrong in 2008. I think that there are some who would rather vote for him again than admit to being wrong.
