MITT IS FINISHED. THERE ARE NO MORE STATES HE CAN HIDE BEHIND and get a free mormon ride. He is now in Cowboy country, and we know B.S. when we smell it.

(Santorum is worth a good second look, my friends. Why is it the media and White House hate him so?)
To: dangus
Only 79% in, winning by only 500, but Colorado Springs / El Paso County is 0% reporting; I guess CNN figures that that’s going for Santorum.

Yep. Noticed that mittbot template here since Iowa. I just have to read the anti-Santorum headline and know the source. We even have a couple on this thread. ;-)

I have to admit not being crazy about Santorum due to his lack of being a fiscal Conservative. I also found him to be arrogant whiney and snooty in the earlier debates that could be due to nervousness and inexperience.
With that said, I would crawl over glass while taking fire overhead to vote for him against Obama. If Romney wins, I will vote for the Green candidate, much to my chagrin.
Go Rick! Your win tonight is a win for the American People. This is truly a jubilant night. He WILL win Colorado.

Colorado Springs and Fort Collins have a large block of votes left to report. They are both very conservative areas, but things aren't breaking very clearly.
The final margin could be very close - perhaps less than 0.5 percent. Maybe the 25 people who showed up for the Sterling, Colorado caucus will decide the result...

In Colorado, delegates are not bound. At the state convention, we elect a slate of delegates to the national convention - each delegate running for the national convention declare who they will support at the national convention and they are voted for. So, for example, in my precinct the prefernce poll vote was pretty much split Romney/Santorum. Our one delegate to the state convention was a Romney delegate, as was the alternate.
