Consider:
Do you think Mitt Romney won’t do the same thing?
Of course he would.

Between GWB and Zero, the US Taxpayers have given the US Automotive companies $102.4 Billion in bail-out money.
Now, if htey can’t get thier act together, it sounds like the US Gov’t will just give them more. ... some incentive to do the ‘right thing’, huh? It’s almost as if this money was Monopoly money to these jerks ...

Stupidest quote by any POTUS in history.
Bush: Ive abandoned free market principles to save the free market system
Completely sums up his presidency and he enabled Obozo to turbo-charge it.
Progressives have infected our country from all sides...

I believe the auto industry had to pay that money back.....
I want to see a comparison with what Reagan did with the S&l bailout
I would rather see a discusion of real facts than the Jr High stuff we now see on these threads where we learn what? That so and so really hated/ hates Bush and thinks all politicians are the same

“Ex-President George W. Bush tells auto dealers he’d bail out automakers again”
Does stupidity know no bounds?
Hundreds of billions of dollars, and do we have competitive automakers? No.
GWB stated in one state of the union speech that “Victory in afghanistan and iraq would not be like those of our fathers and grandfathers” (He was right about that) but after Trillions of dollars, Do we have democracy or Islamic-states-in-waiting?
GWB and Obama gave banks $Trillions. Have we fixed our financial problems?
GWB-Obama are the worst pair of presidents ever. For democracy, for freedom, for prosperity.

The bailout has not been paid back.
But Obama appreciates your vote.
To: RFEngineer
GWB is one of the main reasons for Obama.
What a horrible waste of a presidency.

Yours is the kind of juvenile response I am sick of .....Can you name a source for your contention that it was not paid back and Obama has not and will not ever get my vote unlike the many freepers who will vote for him by not voting for whoever is his opposition
But of course they are the REAL conservatives

DHS/Patriot Act is the biggest thing I can never forgive him for.
That’s saying something when you have more than one Trillion dollar mistake to choose from.

I don’t think the headline accurately reflects what he said.
He didn’t say he would give them another bailout in the future.
He meant that he didn’t regret the bailout, and he’d do it all over again given the same circumstances.
That is, he would do the first bailout again.
