Newt should go after the Fast and Furious stuff, to make clear that he will go after Obama (That is why we love Newt in the Debates!)
However, making a case about the casualties of Obama and Holder, in Mexico, will also gain some Hispanic votes!

Newt needs to jump on Fast and Furious before Romney does!!

I agree, but that doesnt really seem to matter because Mittens uses Newt’s issues and way of framing them anyway.

Newt’s approach is all wrong. Romney’s supporters don’t care what positions he’s taken. They only care about his alleged “electability.” The key to winning the nomination for Newt is destroying Romney’s “electability” myth.

Turning Romney into a joke is the best way. Run ads that show him as the stuttering, thin-skinned phony who folds under pressure that he is. Nurture doubt over Romney’s ability to close the deal.

Then Newt must remind Republicans that the GOP lost everything because for a decade the party’s leaders didn’t feel they needed to educate the public about Conservatism. Then indict Romney as incapable because he doesn’t even know what it means to be a conservative. Newt should present himself as Conservative Professor in Chief. This is his strength. That as a candidate and as President, he will educate the public about what conservatism is, and why it is important.

Rick Perry was the only one who addressed Fast & Furious. None of the remaining candidates have addressed it. It’s a winning issue and they should take it up.
