Ah Newport. So many potent memories.. of OCS, my “work” as a ENS & LTJG.. the cliff walk, the mansions, the historic areas, the walking tours, the snorkeling, the lobster, the hot naval OCS candidates & officers! so many years ago but how rich & vivid the recollections

~ Today...Sunny.
Highs in the mid 50s.
Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

~ Tonight...Mostly clear in the evening...
Then becoming mostly cloudy.
Lows in the lower 30s.
Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Looks like we're in for a little mix of something, maybe.
It's been on the cool side around here.
Not going to complain since it's better than the last few years.
Milder.

Sorry I didn't make it to the Canteen yesterday.
Work got in the way.
Looks like it'll be the same today.
Got meeting with the boss first thing this morning.
So, it'll be hello and goodbye.

Got to make my rounds before, well you know.
Please stay.

Beautiful sky.

I had one of those mornings a few months back. This full moon was sitting low on the horizon, appeared to be sitting on top of the trees across the river, reflected off the water. Had trouble getting a perfect shot with my cellphone (I was still learning too). Never remember seeing one like that here at work.

Maybe one day I’ll get it online.
