Karl Rove sees politics written all over Clint Eastwood's new Chrysler ad and even compares it to "Chicago-style politics."
"I was, frankly, offended by it," Rove said on Fox News Monday. "I'm a huge fan of Clint Eastwood, I thought it was an extremely well-done ad, but it is a sign of what happens when you have Chicago-style politics, and the President of the United States and his political minions are, in essence, using our tax dollars to buy corporate advertising and the best-wishes of the management which is benefited by getting a bunch of our money that they'll never pay back."

Well about once a year I have to agree with Rove - I guess this will be it. Those were my thoughts exactly.

Clint Eastwood’s mercenary performance disappoints me.

That’s exactly what I thought. And I yelled it out during our party.
I read the short article but did not watch the video because I am in a tent in Kuwait. Bandwidth sux; not much chance of streaming anything to see any ad. Rove does generally offend me though. Are you the guy in charge of awards here?
Exactly. Where did 'ol Clint go? A guy who starred in "The Gauntlet" should be a conservative on Team Newt.
I was going to comment on your comment of the previous comment, but I decided to comment to my cat.
Doh!
