Madonna is an uber perfectionist. Yes, I am sure there was lip synching. However, the sound quality was much better than some other Super Bowl half times as was the camera work.

I kept cringing when the guy would come down on that bungee wire. He must have had some good padding between his legs.

I thought she was great, despite the lip synching. The staging, choir, everything, was very impressive.

Madonna can be a pain in the a**, and I don't get the cradle robbing, but I think she's one of the greatest performers of all time. I still love her after all these years, and think Like a Prayer is an incredible song. I would love to have been there, too.

Madonna may have ‘looked’ toned down in her act but performing ‘Like a Prayer’ is a big middle finger to anyone who is conservative.
