Okay, comments and predictions here.

On a happier note...as a life-long Cleveland Browns fan, I really couldn't warm up to rooting for the Giants (New York...don't like! NFC...don't like!) and OTOH, I really can't like Belichick either, after what he did HERE!! Nothing personal to diverse fellow FReepers, of course! I'm glad the game got played in "fly-over country" (ha!) AND, it was a good game!! Too bad the half-time show didn't come close to the quality of the actual game, which IS what people tune in for, isn't it?! (that, and the commercials...lol!)
Let’s be good sports, congrats the winning team and forget about pass transgressions, okay.
And Terry Bradshaw won 4 of 4
I second that from another Steeler die hard.
Seems that Offensive Coordinator from the Pats was just not good enough and pretty stupid.
Oh wait a minute, I can't say that around where I live. He is the new coach at Penn State.
Tell that to Belichek, who has refused to be interviewed after the loss. Classless creep.
Please see post number 842. Thank-you.
is it unusual for the losing team not to give an interview before the channel has to go to regular television???
Brady has been to 5 Super Bowls and won 3. Still the highest percentage of any quarterback that has ever played the game.
Bart Starr- 2 for 2-100%
First time in my memory ...
Now if only the lowly Baltimore Orioles could finish ahead of the Red Sox in the American League East, Amen...
Also should note Bart Starr won 2 superbowls and 5 NFL championships befre there ever superbowls.
Yup....The steelers -Dallas rivalry was legendary
long for the days when we had Jack Lambert instead of Adam Lambert....
You bet.
LOL! Nothing worse than a Cowgirls fan!
yes he did. Other QB have had wonderful winning records. I also have no doubt that the old teams of the 70s would shred the modern teams. Not with speed, but because they would be absolutely disgusted with the prima donna crap in the modern players. Without all the rules to protect the offensive, it would be a massacre.
My main point was the Patriots and Brady are not up with other teams of dominance. The patriots are basically 0-2 in the Super Bowl since they were caught cheating. I think that is karma.
I also think that Manning is a better QB.
Give at least the owner of the Patriots, Mr. Robert Kraft CREDIT for coming up and congratuation Mr. Marra of the Giants. Very classy guy.
Maybe some folks are going to act like sour grapes, but it is not the same for all.
Somewhere out on the campaign trail, a tear rolls down the cheek of a diehard Patriot fan...how could Tom Welker have let the good people of New England down?
You know what this win means? ;)
LOL! The guys do get pretty emotional. I’m especially happy for Eli because back in November, he said that he deserved to be mentioned in the same breath with all the greats. The know-it-all ESPN sports readers said he thought too much of himself. I guess Eli proved them all wrong.
So true
