Controversial Artist Depicts Obama Trampling The Constitution
CBS ^ | February 3, 2012

In front of the White House a man is sitting on a park bench in the throes of depression. He is surrounded by 43 presidents. In the forefront, purposefully ignoring the depressed man is President Obama, whose right foot is stepping on the Constitution. James Madison is next to Obama, pleading with him to stop.

This tableau is called “The Forgotten Man”, a painting by Jon McNaughton, an artist who is known for his politically-charged work.

The painting, which uses objects such as discarded dollar bills as symbols and scraps of paper with individual constitutional amendments scrawled onto them, has been making the rounds across the Internet.

I get how it is controversial. It is because in reality Dear Leader is not trampling the Constitution, he is taking a dump on it.

I noticed the applause Obama was getting. Not a big critic but I’d have had Wilson, LBJ and Nixon joining in as well.

Jimmah is blocked out by Clinton except for his face and Lincoln is definitely NOT clapping as suggested above!!!

The most damaging and most leftist Presidents and on the left and the greatest Presidents are on the right if you were facing the same way they are.

An artist had to do it because the NYT, WaPost, CNN, CBS, NBC, and the rest of the “journalists” are cheerleaders for socialism and won’t do their jobs properly.

A person’s controversial if he goes against the beliefs of the left.
No one on the left is ever controversial.

Some with their hands apart seem to be acting in dismay and vainly grasping to get the paper back. That’s a different action from clapping.

But there are some on FR and elsewhere that never pass up a chance to smear Lincoln because they see what Lincoln did during the Civil War as the first instances of extraconstitutional presidential power, thereby making it easier for later presidents to also do so.

Great painting and absolutely outstanding videos.

But there are some videos on the site, that I am not that comfortable with.

At first I was thrown off by Reagan, but then I found he was 6'1 and Lincoln was 6'4.
Lincoln was a giant.

Great concept painting. I hope heads spin in the White House.

What wonderful symbolism and beautifully depicted, no wonder it’s controversial in this climate of political correctness, but then the truth generally is.
