Komen apologizes for 'recent decisions,' pledges to continue funding Planned Parenthood
Dallas News ^ | 02/03/2012 | By Tom Benning

Komen for the Cure just released the following statement from Nancy Brinker and the Susan G. Komen Board of Directors:

We want to apologize to the American public for recent decisions that cast doubt upon our commitment to our mission of saving women's lives.

The events of this week have been deeply unsettling for our supporters, partners and friends and all of us at Susan G. Komen. We have been distressed at the presumption that the changes made to our funding criteria were done for political reasons or to specifically penalize Planned Parenthood. They were not.

Someone really ought to capitalize on this and found a NEW organization SOLELY dedicated to preventing breast cancer, and not funneling money to fake women’s health orgs like PP.

There’s a real opportunity here to do the right thing.

PP and this SGK alliance has been outed now.

So I guess everyone that ran out and donated to them after they ditched Planned Parenthood can get their money back? Playing the middle is a good way to get hit by traffic from both directions...

So it WAS just a publicity stunt to generate more donations for both organizations...

PP doesn’t do cancer screening. They do referals.

Komen has returned to being a front for abortion funding.

I’ve never donated to SGK. Their ties with PP have been little known fact for a long time now.

Anybody that donated to them within the last few days on the basis that they stopped funding PP should ask for a refund immediately! I knew I couldn’t trust these jack asses! Thank the Lord that I didn’t slip up and donate to these morons!

That’s really skirting the line of fraud.

My wife survived stage I breast cancer, she’s still in remission, THANK G-D. But we’re finished with Komen. We have those “affinity” type debit cards for Susan B Komen, we plan to replace these cards, even if our eeeeevil bank charges us a fee. i’ll be money well spent!

Shows you the fascist-mafia control the godless have on us-—they are too powerful for the Komen organization to fight—she caved to their pressure. We live in very scary times-—the “rulers”—the vast majority now have souls owned by Satan. The Bonhoeffers —the ones who stand up-—are going to have the same fate as he did.

As far as I’m concerned, all of these “cure” organizations are scams.

So Komen caved to the large number of donors who think defending abortion is more important than fighting breast cancer. The big question is: what the Hell is wrong with those donors? They'd rather die from cancer than be prevented from killing an unborn baby?

So much for “we will NEVER...” etc. as stated on Fox News this morning. Not an organization worthy of so much as a penny from us.

From the article: We do not want our mission marred or affected by politics - anyone’s politics.

I wonder if this was said with a straight face.

I know deep inside my belly that somehow these people on the SGK foundation were threatened by somebody.

The threat was I dunno, to dig deep into their tax-exempt status, maybe a threat to launch into a negetive campaign.

All this is flap is going to do is shine the light on that cockroach infested Planned Parenthood, an organization holding on to their last vestiges of credibility.

Because we MUST have abortions, we MUST....and even more, hey, we’re working on a plan to ABORT THE ALREADY BORN!

Indeed, indeed, if your 5-year old is too much to handle, Planned Parenthood is THIS close to having the ability to abort that child.

American’s just aren’t as in love with abortion as they once were. You got patched you can put on, ONCE A MONTH FOR GOD’S SAKE-for birth control....abortions are just not the fun and joy that they used to be.

Planned Parenthood funnels their money to leftist politicians and they use it to appeal to women who don’t want to pay for birth control so they have abortions as a means of birth control. Don’t say it doesn’t happen.

They’ll fight to their death to keep their most precious abortions, while America is backing away from this.
