Looks like some pretty good speakers today.
I don't know how many here got to watch Newt's speech last night in West Palm but it was tremendous.A true work of art.
Newt stuck it to everyone on the left and right who had blasted him about going to the moon and creating a base instead of giving the moon to the Chinese which is what would happen. It's not as far fetched as you think once you figure out that private money could be used instead of govt. funds.
Good morning AB and thanks once again for the thread. Looks like FNS will be the one to watch because of Paul Ryan and Newt.
ALways read the thread when home from church and you are long gone. Thanks for it. Miss bah bah, she always gave more details knowing I’d be reading later...BTW contributed a bit in her honor on the Freeathon..Keep in touch with the girls, They are doing well.
Which one is Mitt on?
Morning AB, All
As always AB, thank you for doing this thread so dependably every Sunday.
The Florida primaries coming up this week. The Blue Bloods doing their best to destroy Newt and should Santorum make a rise to replace, he too will be on their radar.
I have said many times yon ladies and gems that which y’all should be learning as truth for my wisdom
The GOP Blue Blood Elites will reach across the aisle with perfectly polished fingernails but will rip off the heads of their protesting base and crap down their bloody necks.
So we have, proving that they don’t have a clue, first Juan McCain, then .heh, Bob Dole, on to Tom Delay.
THESE ARE EXACTLY THE SORTS THE BASE IS SICK OF!!
So they trot them out with their endorsements of Romney, excoriation of Newt, and this is supposed to appease us and calm our troubled souls?
They simply do not have a clue.
Got a real insight via something I heard this past week, about the so-called establishment GOP and even with my huge bucket of wisdom, I learned something quite intriguing.
Will share later as the thread unfolds.
Morning everyone!
Coffee’s on!
Thanks for the thread AB.
Santorum will be a no show on account of his baby daughter's being hospitalized.
Newt will have a couple opportunities to distinguish himself over his competition, Romney, the GOP establishment, and that minor extension of the GOP establishment, Obama.
MTP
New NBC poll in FL showing Romney leading 15 points over Gingrich.
Santorum does better against Obama than Gingrich. Romney does best, but still 5 points under Obama.

Gregory turns to McCain and Thompson. I turn to another news program.
Newt admits that Santorum is splitting the conservative vote. Mentions all the endorsements. A not so subtle message to Rick.
Should be a hoot with Wallace & Gingrich. Wallace, the Mittens lacky vs the anti-elite.
FNS
Whether he is on the ticket as VP or not, the GOP nominee MUST find some way to get Ryan in the forefront in addressing the economy and challenging Obama.
Ryan knows economic issues intimately and knows how to explain the problems in understandable language. [Contrast with 2008 John ‘I don’t know much about economics’ McCain.]
I heard that Fred Barnes admitted he heard Romney aides bragging that they “had Drudge in the bag”????? Anyone see that?
I just watched the Michele Bachmann segment on Face the Nation and THAT is the classy lady I know Bachmann to be. Kudo’s to her for such a classy interview.
Amazing Fox News just had a bumper and in the lower left corner showed a Jan. 5th poll with Romney having a lead over Newt. Idiots.
