He inherited plenty of his wealth, just not all of it. Romney is where he is largely on account of his father's political and business efforts.
Newt up on FNS.
They will be discussing the Jan Brewer/Obongo flap.
Per Newt: Gov. Romney carpetbombing to win in Fla. like he always has done in past campaigns
MTP
New NBC poll in FL showing Romney leading 15 points over Gingrich.
Santorum does better against Obama than Gingrich. Romney does best, but still 5 points under Obama.

Gregory turns to McCain and Thompson. I turn to another news program.
Newt admits that Santorum is splitting the conservative vote. Mentions all the endorsements. A not so subtle message to Rick.
DNC Dave opens with ChUck the schmuck Todd from Mostly stupid NBC trying to show mitt ahead 42-27 and pulling further away. Then chuck tries to show that the pubbie election is taking a toll on pubbies. So biased you can’t even comment on it.<p.
NOw I go back to other sites since McCain is on.....
Newt describing Romney’s carpet bombing (his opponent)with money raised from his Wall Street buddies.
Newt ahead in national polls.
Wallace referencing both campaigns running negative ads.
Newt accusing Romney of lying and refuting the claims of ethics violations and his resignation as speaker.
Newt says he doesn’t know how you are supposed to debate a lying opponent like Romney.
CBS could be interesting, as it is GOP establishment, with an appearance by Bachmann. Which way will she go, if any?
ABC likewise, with Boehner being the one to look for a read from.
What’s with Wallace clearing his throat while Newt is speaking???
I’m not sure “we” need to win Florida, assuming the we is for Newt. I admit I might be saying this as for now it looks good for Romney.
HOWEVER, what looks like a “prolonged” primary season, much to the Blue Blood dismay, will allow states like....well Delaware comes to mind, to have primaries and perhaps be counted in.
Thus Florida’s alleged importance dims in that the base, with bloody stumps for necks all filled with crap, are not going gently into the Mittens good night.
Chris is lying his head off. He brings up a clip from 5 yrs ago and puts words in his mouth that wasn’t there. This is nothing more than an attack ad.
Pretty much by calling out the lies, which he is doing. What Newt should do is put the onus on the media to protect its own credibility (haha) by also noticing the lies, and he can use CNN's Blitzer's example of pointing out the "Newt said Spanish is a ghetto language" claim as false; and also pointing out that Romney's claim to be unaware seemed false too, as Romney's voice appeared at the end of the ad as approving the message.
Hey, Bob Dull is still alive; who knew? Now he is a great spokesman.
Wallace trying to trap Newt on the “Spanish language” non-issue. Ticked off over Romney’s mischaracterization of the issue.
He claims Romney was for total immersion in English.
Newt going after the GOP establishment, Wallace asking him how they are hurting the country. Washington seems incapable of doing an investigation of the Dodd/Frank bill debacle.
Being asked about Bob Dole’s allegations of Newt being a “one man band” Slams moderates of being unable to debate and successfully run against democrat presidential candidates.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with what Newt said in that ad. The word “ghetto” was not used disparagingly. This interview might actually help Newt. He was able to set straight the lies Romney barraged him with at the debate the other night.
And too, that Florida's primary has diluted influence at the convention, with half of its delegates being stripped by the party for "going earlier than allowed" by party rules.
Not that the GOP establishment has a proper respect for the spirit of its own rules.
I'm hopeful that Newt will win FL - that is, I think he has a much better chance than the news reports and fudged polls would lead a gullible person to believe.
Pam Bondi is on Fox National news now talking about Romney’s new healthcare plan.
Funny thing is, he doesn't even do that very well.
Ryan up
