Tonight five years of the TV show "Chuck" comes to end. The character Col. John Casey, a spy, has been a pro-gun advocate and has often saluted a photo of Ronald Reagan in his apartment and calls him "Sir".
Adam Baldwin has portrayed John Casey for the past 5 years.
Can anyone refer to other honorable characters on TV today?
Funny you should mention this. My wife loves “Chuck,” and I can’t quite stomach the silly script EXCEPT for Adam Baldwin’s part - which I love.
He was also pretty cool on Firefly.

that’s kind of tough... just last week they opened up a whole new line with Sarah being captured after having the intersect uploaded into her brain, forgetting every thing about the previous 5 years, and then put on a mission to kill chuck
wth? does this mean chuck dies and it just ends? that’s kind of lame. or they resolve the issue in 30 minutes and spend 10 minutes going on about how everything is good again and back to ‘normal’?

Adam Baldwin really is John Casey (in spirit). Go check out his twitter posts. The dude is a seriously pro-American conservative. I bet that framed photo of Reagan he has in “Chuck” is really his and not some prop. :)
Adam Baldwin is a real Conservative. He used to do pieces over at Brietbart’s Big Hollywood once in a while if I recall.
Zachary Levi is an Evangelical Christian and has been since childhood. In a 2002 interview with Relevant Magazine, he said, “My job on my set, I believe, is to first just love people and gain that trust with people where they know that I really do love them and care about their well-being, so that when they are running into problems, they will hopefully, at some point, come to me and ask me, ‘What is your peace all about? What is your comfort all about? Where do you get your love? Where do you get your talents?’ And I can turn to them and say without blinking, ‘Jesus Christ.’
That’s a big negative. Chuck is the only new network show I watch. Wish they’d just keep it going.
That is good to know. I’m a “Chuck” fan... great cast...will be watching the farewell finale tonight.
I love Zachary Levi. I did not know this about him, and wish him the best in whatever his next endeavor may be.
