BTW - Did anyone else make the connection? The conference is about an accident that stopped a construction project. He was talking about the investigation and the impact as a public union bus driver first stops, honks her bus horn, then proceeds to drive her bus into a parked news trucks and within feet of stationary pedestrians.

I hope OSHA investigates this complicated accident.

A little bus-related story here. Several years ago, a friend of mine had a very minor bump with a city bus. There was no damage, but the bus driver told my friend he needed call police per regulations. While waiting for police to arrive, a few passengers stepped off the bus to ask the driver what the hold up was. He told them there was a minor accident and they would be held up for a bit. Even though most of the passengers didn’t even know there was an accident at the beginning, by the time police arrived, 8-10 of them claimed to be hurt and demanded an ambulance.

Well. First of all, it looks to me like the press was standing where she wanted to drive.

This wasn’t the cops with lights flashing, it was the media.

The woman might have a case that the media was blocking the right of way.
