Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told State Department employees Thursday that she will not stay on in the job if President Obama wins re-election, saying that she is ready to step off "the high wire of American politics," according to the AP.
A State Department official confirmed Clinton's comment, writing to Yahoo News: "Yes, she did [say that]. She said she would stay on until Obama nominates another Secretary of State."

First Lady of Arkansas
First Lady of the US
Carpetbagger US Senator from New York handed a seat
Appointed Secretary of State
What ‘high’ wire has she been on, exactly? She has been handed everything while bitching about it and writing books about how hard done by she has been. She disproves the rule that ‘nobody is ugly at 2 AM’ but her bug-eyed visage has regrettably been with us for two solid decades.

Both Hillary and Geitner looked quite disgusted at various points in the SOU the other night.

Yeah, until the convention calls her begging her to be the VEEP.
My prediction is Joe Biden will need to have brain surgery again or another “health problem”. Hitlery will be asked to take over.
But gas will probably be $5.00 a gallon by then, and whether she accepts the call is to be determined.

Much as I dislike pantload, her replacement would be worse.

This time she won’t have a president calling in favors on her behalf.

She is one of the most popular women in America now. It would appear, based on that alone, she has helped herself.

I think these will be the pondering years...The years that will magnify her regrets....one child, a faithless husband, promoting socialism but living Capitalism.
A very unhappy woman. She really has and has had "nothing"....nothing that counts.
To: Sacajaweau
You’re assuming a miracle - that she develops a conscience.
My guess is she winds up on a dozen corporate boards and foundations and has her wide @ss kissed for another 20 yrs.
Or maybe a lucrative gig on PMSNBC.

This is odd considering she’d be running for reelection if she’d beaten Obama in 2008. That really is her greatest failure. We’d have been better off with Hillary.
